This is EXACTLY how we (and our legislators) should be moving through the world…having conversations about policies, not people. Conversations that drive you to THINK logically about solutions to the issues we all face. Conversations without the drive to make you FEEL things like fear or anger…logic cannot exist when you’re in those states. It’s almost like most politicians, parties, and media outlets don’t want you to think logically and critically.
I wonder why?

How do we tackle our $40 trillion deficit? With my Six Penny Plan. We make even across-the-board cuts and eliminate six cents from every dollar the federal government spends. After five years, the budget would be balanced.
It can be done. Washington just has to have the willpower to do it.
“Restorative Justice” as explained: “everyone deserves a second and third chance”.
“Restorative Justice” in practice: recidivism rates increasing ten fold (at least) with prosecutors exercising “prosecutorial discretion” to the point where they don’t pursue class B felonies.
“Restorative Justice” as practiced in Maine is not “restorative” for the addict or their communities. Nor is it “justice” for either party.
It is criminal neglect.
Now, instead of overreacting (because let’s be honest…that’s what we do), let’s start talking to our neighbors about ways we can take control of our communities and work with law enforcement to turn the tide.

Mainers are becoming increasingly fed up with local governments prioritizing addicts and junkies over well-to-do citizens 🔥
In a powerful statement last night, a Lewiston business owner left BUCKETS of used needles and crack pipes at the feet of the city councilors who have enabled and encouraged harm reduction policies.
But it’s not hilarious. It’s a waste of time. It accomplishes nothing of substance.
How does it encourage the good faith dialogue that is VITAL to solving the problems we face?

It's HILARIOUS how mad the Left got after @POTUS renamed Lake Ontario to Lake America. Did they forget the past DECADE where they forced us to call men women? At least Trump's name change is fun. The Left's came with the threat of being outcast from society if you didn't say right is wrong, up is down, and 2+2=5.
So, in the spirit of fun, I thought I'd make the Left even more mad with this carefully-written paragraph:
An overweight mother, a woman, breastfed her son in the master bedroom of a little house down on the Gulf of Mexico. She fed him Aunt Jemima pancakes and Uncle Ben's rice, gave him an Eskimo Pie when he behaved, and put him in the Boy Scouts. She cried when he finally got out of prison, quit being a convict, and started fixing manholes for the city. And last summer, he drove her north—not towards Mount McKinley, but past Cleveland—you know, where the Indians play—up to a diner on the shore of Lake America, where they argued about the Redskins, and listened to the Dixie Chicks the whole way home.
