[🇫🇷 version FR 👇] Day 231 orbit 3580 – Just another morning in space… this one starting with a blood draw! I was so proud to get it right on the first try! ☺️
As part of NASA’s Standard Measures and other physiology experiments, we regularly collect blood and other samples to help scientists understand how our bodies adapt to spaceflight. We centrifuge and freeze the samples on board, preserving them until they can be analysed back on Earth. I’ll do one last blood draw on the morning we undock!🩸🔬
🎥 @esa / @NASA

Your immune system never forgets its first flu.
That early response can affect how your body responds to new flu strains decades later.
See how ISS research could help @Sanofi develop vaccines that can overcome this immune "baggage."

Last week @Soph_astro, @astro_hathaway and I took turns imaging each other’s internal organs for the @CNES EchoFinder-2 experiment. This experiment aims to use augmented reality and artificial intelligence to allow astronauts without medical or ultrasound expertise to perform scans without any support from Earth. This type of technology could prove invaluable for remote medical monitoring scenarios both on Earth and for @NASAArtemis missions to the Moon and Mars.
