To my new recruiters who don’t quite understand this: You have to follow up with candidates…. Secret: put it as a calendar reminder while you’re on the phone with them and you know you want to move them forward

Candidate 2 who was introverted, to the point and maybe not my first pick… is still here 😊 and thriving, growing, and developing!!!
Soo fast forward… Candidate 1 nice look, charismatic, complimenting, and described us as their dream job, stuck around for 6 months until their other “dream job” came 😏 … and #storytime
Although I had more confidence in Candidate 1, and I thought Candidate 2 was kind of “blah” I hired them both…. #storytime
