he climbs into the passenger seat. “car broke down coming home from the job” he lies before he flashes a smile. “a ride to the nearest hotel and i’ll be eternally grateful. i’m sure.. i can find a way to repay you” he settles in his seat “the name’s Ephram, what may i call you?”

he smiles and tilts his head “oh i’m not against that, i’ll happily pay for drinks” he holds out his hand “tell me.. what’s your poison and i’ll take you to whatever bar serves it best”

[ @LUSTINGANGST ] “i’m sure that if i ask nicely enough you’ll take me for a drink because.. something tells me we could get along quite well once we start speaking on how incompetent most people around here are” he leans in, eyes pleading slightly.

[ @AFTYRDARK ] despite it being late at night Ephram is walking down a rural street, wearing a full suit and carrying a briefcase. he’s trying to wave down an oncoming truck hoping to hitch a ride. hoping the bright lights won’t stop the driver from spotting him.

“that’s a shame sweetheart because i am not all that easy to get rid of” he grins “come on now, what are you running from that must be so bad you’re trying to avoid others”
