Liverpool Street right now, it’s grim to be a Jew in the UK. I’m absolutely sick , the police is here doing nothing while people chant ‘from the river to the sea’ and glorifying violence. Prime Minister, you are responsible

Both Netanyahu and Trump expect to suffer heavy defeats in their respective elections in Israel and USA, so both are pushing for a war with Iran. Why would the US Defence Secretary come for a secret visit in Israel a week before the elections?! axios.com/2026/10/19/pete-he…

Had a ticket to see @marillion tonight, my first time seeing them live. Found out they open with a song about Gaza. As a British Jew, after the antisemitism we've faced in the UK, I'm not going. Fans deserved a heads-up. I've written to management asking for a refund.

England lost to Spain more than Spain won the match. Guehi gave Spain's first goal, O'Reilly gave Spain's second goal, and Harry Kane missed penalty when England were already 2:1 up. There are definitely positives from the match, but England should have won yesterday.

After today's performance, @Arsenal should refund the money for all the away supporters who came to support the team. The performance on the pitch was unacceptable.

Arsenal's defeat today was humiliating. It's ok to lose few times in a season but not in such a manner. Arteta probably watched another game because he should have made 5 subs at HT and to take off: Rice, Bruno, Saka, Tzolis & Calafiori. Credit to Brighton who simply outplayed us

Andy Burnham need to read the room (and I don't mean the PLP room). Britons are paying through the roof for this 'net zero by 2050' virtue signalling. Until Russia, USA and China take meaningful action, nothing will change significantly. Energy & food prices must be reduced

The Prime Minister is right that difficult decisions are needed in budget. The taxpayers are expecting a cut in the welfare bill. The PM must not dare try to introduce tax rises as the public had enough.
NEW: Andy Burnham has warned the budget will be “challenging” and he will have to take “difficult decisions” because of the deteriorating economic picture “We will take difficult decisions to make sure the economy remains on track” “It’s going to be challenging, because the picture around the world is challenging” That’s a new message from the prime minister who until now has been talking about restoring “hope” to Britain

I'm loyal Arsenal fan but not a loyalist. The way how Gyokeres was treated by Arteta this summer has been a disgrace. He scored decisive goals last season , added new dimension to our game. The Arteta loyalists out in force try blame Gyokeres instead of the manager.

The whole speculation around Gyokeres as part of a deal for Alvarez dominated the summer transfer window, so how would the player feel/react when it seems he's not wanted by his club/manager? If he had a bad season, then nobody would argue, but Gyokeres had a good season.

‘Haaland was in an onside position, said VAR’. Meanwhile the Premier League STILL didn’t make a decision on the 115 charges….

Israel's culture minister Miki Zohar says he will act to revoke the citizenship of both documentary film directors of Naza: Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. Not only that he can't do it, but this will just give more publicity to a movie he deplores. 🤦‍♂️

Saka and White poor first half. Ref let Sunderland kick Arsenal players with impunity. Arsenal need to wake up , play faster and get a quick goal

So drivers will get air condition on buses but millions of passengers won’t. @SadiqKhan said it was a priority so we can all assume passengers aren’t a priority for Sadiq. Voters should remember it at next mayoral elections
Improving conditions for bus drivers was a personal priority for me. That's why I pushed for air conditioning in every London bus cab - and I’m pleased to see an agreement between @TfL and @UnitetheUnion is making that happen.

The timing for Burnham and Miliband decalartion on Israel yesterday is the byelection in Holborn & St. Pancras. The Labour Party desperately trying to woo back voters who switch to Greens. A sensible PM and government would have wait till after Israel's elections, 7 weeks away.

Ed Milibnad who as Labour leader, stopped the UK from making a military intervention in Syria, which could have saved hundreds of thousands of lives and stopped Assad from committing war crimes, is now lecturing other countries on enabling war crimes
The UK will stand up for what is right.

The UK has issues with unsustainable welfare bill, illegal immigration, unemployment. So what PM Andy Burnham is prioritising less than 2 months before the current Israeli government goes home? a trade ban of West Bank settlements.
BREAKING Andy Burnham will announce a trade ban on Tuesday on Israeli settlements in the West Bank. He will say that Britain will not stand back and accept the “destruction of the two-state solution” Burnham told President Trump about the proposed ban in a phone call on Monday. No 10 said the prime minister had stressed the importance of the two-state solution. The Trump administration is expected to make a statement attacking the decision The intervention is one of Burnham’s most significant on foreign policy since he became prime minister. Ed Miliband, the foreign secretary, will announce the ban in the Commons He will raise concerns that Israel’s plans for extra housing will in effect cut the West Bank in two and destroy any hope of a two-state solution, in which Israel and an independent Palestinian state would exist side by side Israeli ministers are expected to retaliate against the sanctions. Downing Street confirmed on Monday that, since becoming prime minister, Burnham had not spoken to his Israeli counterpart, Binyamin Netanyahu Miliband is also expected to announce sanctions against people involved in the Israeli settlements. Last year, Britain sanctioned senior Israeli ministers in response to “repeated incitements of violence against Palestinian communities” The subject has divided Labour. Labour Friends of Israel, a group that includes senior Labour MPs and peers, has said that while it “strongly opposes” the settlements there is a risk that the trade ban will become a “de facto boycott” of Israel However, more than 140 Labour MPs, about a third of the parliamentary party, signed a letter calling for the government to ban trade with Israeli settlements. Supporters are preparing to table a motion at Labour’s conference this month A trade ban has strong support among Labour, Liberal Democrat and Green voters, the progressive alliance that Burnham is attempting to bring together before the next election. The majority of Labour and Liberal Democrat voters believe that Britain has been too friendly towards Israel, while the figure for Green voters is 62 per cent thetimes.com/uk/politics/art…

Reform (formerly known as Brexit party) is using rhetoric against illegal migrants. Reform conveniently forgets to mention that illegal migration started after Brexit and ‘taking back control of our borders’. So I am here to remind them and their supporters just that .
