You can have a democracy, or you can have an ethnostate. You can have a republic, or you can have a demagogue. Every few generations, for no particularly good reason, we get to reconsider our choices. Choose wisely.

BREAKING: For the first time, Senate will have 2 Black women -- as both Angela Alsobrooks (Maryland) and Lisa Blunt Rochester (Delaware) are now projected to WIN. Really wonderful news for the early part of the evening!

Russian propaganda sources seem not to have heard that Russian propaganda is a hoax.
Utterly predictably, and as widely predicted, Russian state propaganda repeats Trump’s lies about the election.

There is absolutely no truth to this allegation. It is yet another example of disinformation. Voting in Philadelphia has been safe and secure.

The attorneys representing the GOP then received a public dressing-down from the judge. “I’ve gotta address some concerns I have with the litigation tactics in this case," he began. Judge Baker criticized portions of the GOP's complaint as "factually and legally incorrect."

Now imagine what Texas will do with the stop and piss laws for young women who might want to go back to their home states to vote.
This woman is refusing to let the fascists win. This is what commitment to save American democracy and women's rights looks like. 🙌🙏💪👏👊🌊🇺🇸

Today I learned that Iowa lacks the constitutional power of formal succession. Like, the lieutenant governor would need to be appointed to serve out the governor's term if they died or were appointed to a post under the United States and had to resign.

Right call, and good for Canada recognizing the right of the accused not to answer questions that might have incriminating answers.
Tenet Media founder Lauren Chen was summoned to Canadian parliament today to testify about Tenet taking Russian money to fund shows from commentators like Tim Pool and Dave Rubin. Chen refused to testify, saying she faces an ongoing US criminal investigation.

I have been asked on two different networks and by two different male hosts today whether abortion rights are as important to women as the economy. I can't say it more clearly: reproductive freedom is economic freedom. They are intrinsically intwined, as every woman knows.

It is completely the opposite of shocking that very few instances of impropriety in voting have been found. It nearly as honest election volunteers can manage never happens.
“States who have gone looking for non-citizen voters have found shockingly few," says David Becker. He says Ohio announced that in over a decade, it found six possible cases of non-citizens voting. cbsn.ws/3Ux3Y5p
