Since i have a hashtag for #PhadPhp, here's a link to it:

Or on @gitlab gitlab.com/taeluf/php/phad
as a long-time php developer who really likes php, i disagree. I wish i had learned a lower level language long ago. I wish i were well versed in Rust. i wish i were in a more performant language. But I'm also not going to make the switch now or any time soon.

or d shift+t period
Sometimes my vimming is a little silly & i barely know how to use backspace key when in vim
This form on @bonsaiinc uses a hidden <select> and a #javascript based dropdown. Without js, there are no <options>. With javascript, there are no #a11y features, such as tabbing to inputs or typing the first couple letters of your state.

Browsers support <select> with #a11y features built-in. @bonsaiinc, you may be able to use aria roles to improve this, if you are set upon using the javascript selectors you have developer.mozilla.org/en-US/…
Added a curl-based Browser to my #php #testing lib. Currently supports GET, POST, file uploads, and can follow `Location:` header. Will soon support cookies. Can send arbitrary headers of your choosing. Responses are well-parsed w/ headers & everything

almost finished with my local candidacy site! Such excite. It'll be awhile before i open source it, but i plan to eventually.
benchmarks are in my monolith repo at taeluf.com/docs/Monolith-src…
No blog post or README, but basically it runs the init.php file, then runs each other php file $bench_loop times
I just benchmarked my #LiaisonPhp router & found out it's almost twice as fast as nikic/FastRoute.
It's 100 loops of creating the router, adding 1,000 routes (patterns pre-generated), then getting the route info for a url.
Liaison: 0.37 sec
Nikic: 0.64 sec

The pattern i'm using is basically /{param}/uniqid()/
The cachedDispatcher for nikic beats me at 0.30sec, though. & there is other configurability in nikic that might make it faster.
There's also more features in nikic's router.
Also, suddenly nikic started taking 0.99sec
dealing with bare git repos & pulling changes into various sub-dirs to keep multiple branches around on-disk is a pain. Though i added --update-head-ok to my git fetch & that fixed today's bug with my git hooks.
Added an `if` attribute to phad for a simple way to stop a query from executing. There's an existing access attribute for more complex/integrated things. This feature uses `eval()` instead of the built-in code-templating, but whatever.

Been steady working on my local candidates site (closed source for the time being). It's going well. I'd share some designs, but i'd need to redact certain information & I don't feel like doing all that
Also worked on my business card for it yesterday
Might be up for primaries!

Is there somewhere a list of conditional parameters from internal php functions? 🤔 #php
after working thru a problem for a few hours, I finally realized that fixing it was totally easy using the recently introduced conditional parameter and return types within @phpstan

kudos to Richard van Velzen and @OndrejMirtes
did a small patch to my #php #lexer to support use() statements on anonymous functions
