We’re going live in 10 minutes! Join Doc and JEMS for a look at what’s next in EMS hemorrhagic shock care and bleeding control technology.
Still time to join us. Watch it live here: jems.com/webinar/advancing-e…
K9 casualty care takes more than knowing how to stop the bleed. It takes training to safely assess, handle, and treat an injured working dog.
Marion County Fire Rescue SWAT Medics teamed up with Marion County Sheriff's Office K9 handlers to put those skills into practice using K9 Diesel.

Training under pressure helps turn medical skills into instinct.
Airmen at Ellsworth Air Force Base recently worked through realistic field scenarios, practicing TCCC, casualty movement, and rapid decision-making on our high-fidelity simulation manikins while learning to adapt to the challenges of a contested environment.
A solid example of preparing future leaders to take care of their people in the field.

Cops Direct exists for the moments no officer can predict—but every officer has to be ready for.
A shooting. A major crash. A critically injured partner. A civilian bleeding out before EMS can safely reach them.
In those first critical minutes, law enforcement may be the only help available. And having the right lifesaving equipment within reach can change what happens next.
That’s why Cops Direct works to put trauma kits, tourniquets, medical equipment, and other mission-critical resources directly into the hands of law enforcement agencies and officers who need them.
Because protecting the people who protect our communities isn’t just about saying “thank you.”
It’s making sure they have the tools to save a stranger.
To save a partner.
To save themselves.
The next emergency won’t wait for equipment to arrive.
Neither should we. 🇺🇸

Yesterday, our team was at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for the Healthcare Simulation & Procedural Skills Expo.
Patrick Smith and Drew Leiendecker presented the Whole-Body Clinical Response - Resuscitate (WBS-CRU-R), demonstrating how its anatomically accurate features, lifelike physiology, and realistic responses to treatment create a training experience that closely replicates caring for a real patient.
Thank you to everyone involved for the valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and learn directly from the professionals advancing military medical training and readiness.
