Once @RyanDivish and @MattP1Tommy move to Threads or Mastodon I'll be deleting Twitter. It's really that simple for me at this point. Those apps give me everything, especially since they are combining.

Why do hockey announcers raise their voices with excitement when shots clearly miss? MCANN GOES WIDE! You don't hear baseball announcers scream with excitement for a pop-fly.

"I had more fun than I wanted to." (ie I don't want to become a horse gambler) I heard said by one player after this game of Ready Set Bet by @alderac .

World Baseball Classic has begun. All about a bonus early baseball season.

After the Superbowl...Flamecraft.

I'll be in Albuquerque New Mexico next week. What game stores should I check out?

Playing Tiletum from @BoardAndDice tonight. This game is just heavy enough to make advanced gamers happy but straightforward enough that newer gamers, looking to level up a little, can also join in.

Played Verdant from @alderac last night. I like it. Yes, it's another drafting game like Cascadia, but the way you are setting up your card tableau and the decisions you make in your picks was fun and interesting to me. It's a worthy "next buy" if you love the Spiel winner.

When we lived in Uganda Twitter was our most important tool for communication. Out in the bush there was no cell Internet service but there WAS cell text messaging. And you used to be able to text a message to an in-country number and it would post it as a tweet. It was AMAZING!

Well....we had a good run. #MyTwitterAnniversary

Wild Serengeti is just a beautiful game and I like how it bends my brain. @BadCometGames

On the old Internet, communities like many of us built on Twitter, cleared every few years. BBSs, Newsgroups, IRC, Web Chat, MUDs, they rose and fell. Sometimes you kept the friends but many were lost forever. Not saying that will happen here, but it's a reminder of those times.

Vacation in a small beach town? I think there's one obvious game to play this week... ❤️ Cape May from @thunderworksgam .

Thank you 2022 Mariners. You gave me so much. ❤️ And I know, this is just the beginning. #SeaUsRise

No one knows when it started. No one knows when it will end. There has only ever been this one game of baseball. #Mariners #SeaUsRise

MATT BRASH! MARINERS!

Me when my kids come down after their bedtime...
