It's well over a year since the first release of #DotNetMAUI #casualgame #MaxwellsDemon. I bet nobody has finished it yet:

My current #DotNetMAUI and #NeuralNetworks project: Design + train NN in #GoogleColab and transfer it to a #CrossPlatform app using #ONNX. Principle established. Next I have to think of a genuinely useful and (the hard part) original NN to go in the app.

Level 8 on #MaxwellsDemon has been called impossible. Here's one way to do it.

This is how the #Wavicle app works. All the wave effects emerge from applying this simple principle over and over again.

Ever wondered why the microwaves don't escape through the holes in the metal grill in your microwave oven door, but the light waves do? Find out using the #Wavicle app's "microwave oven door" pre-saved sim.

The new #Wavicle app, developed using #DotNetMAUI, is finally available for Android phones! It simulates a ripple tank, allowing you to play around with dippers and barriers.

Fantastic #MauiDay in London today showing some of the great work using it to create innovative cross-platform apps. I was particularly impressed by the talk about #MotiMe. Great example of the way technology can be used to help with child physiotherapy.

To support my new #Wavicle app (#TeachPhysics) designed using the fabulous #DotNetMAUI I'm creating a video to explain the whole wave/particle debate. Or some of it. Here's a little timeline I made to go in it. #Physics #ITeachPhysics #PhysicsFun #PhysicsLovers #STEM
#genuary #genuary2026 #genuary20 - "One line. An artwork that is made of a single line only." Didn't Picasso do stuff like that sometimes? This one is 1705992 pixels long. At 300 dpi that would be about 158 yards.
#genuary #genuary2026 #genuary18 -
"Unexpected path. Draw a route that changes direction based on one very simple rule."
Simple rule: "Follow the letters in Winnie-the-Pooh".
This being a somewhat different style and age to Shakespeare, will there be a noticeable difference? No.
#genuary #genuary2026 #genuary18 -
"Unexpected path. Draw a route that changes direction based on one very simple rule."
The simple rule: "Follow the letters in Macbeth".
As you can see, Macbeth drifts left and down like Hamlet did. Probably pretty much what you were expecting.
#genuary18 - "Unexpected path. Draw a route that changes direction based on one very simple rule."
The simple rule: "Follow the letters in Hamlet".
As you can see, with this letter-wheel Hamlet drifts left and gently down. Make of that what you will. Other texts later.

In a #DotNetMAUI app, why use the OS's built in keyboard when you can make your own? Fun to design, easy to draw onto an ICanvas and, once that little bit of effort is out of the way, infinitely configurable and unique. Don't follow the crowd. #ReinventTheWheel!
#TeachPhysics app written using #DotNetMAUI now has a help section explaining the controls. I'm hoping to get it released by Christmas. Still needs a bit of work.
#Physics #Education #PhysicsGames #IndieGames
#PhysicsEducation app written using #DotNetMAUI now has working circular and straight dippers with variable amplitude and wavelength. Objects can be added and removed. Just need to fix the title bar and implement load/save of ripple tank state.
