Currently looking for work.
I'm proficient in a wide range of game engines and programming languages.
Can also do 3D animation, low-poly 3D modelling, graphic design, and almost thing else involved in making videogames and software, especially for XR devices and wearables.
Hey guys.
My powers been shut off die to high winds.
The power company says it'll likely be 8 hours before it's back on 😭
Any ideas on how I can stay productive during this time?
I can't stand liver or black licorice but I'll eat anything else on here if it's prepared well.
Snails would obviously have to be escargot and not normal land snails.
I won't eat straight mayo but I like it in spinach dip and chicken salad.

Please please please do not go to yoga classes just to hit on women.
The yoga studio is supposed to be a safe place to improve your mind, body, and spirit, not a place for dudes to hit on women who just want to work out.
Attention Young Men:
I am surrounded by 20 year old girls in my life that are smart, capable, hard working and cute. Nobody is dating them. Not sure what the deal is, but I don’t get it.
Step 1: Stop playing video games
Step 2: Head to great clips and get that lettuce cleaned up
Step 3: Hit a shower (when dating hygiene is critical)
Step 4: Go clean your car
Step 5: Sign up for a yoga class
Step 6: Go to the yoga class
Step 7: Ask a cute for her phone number at yoga class (yes you can meet girls IRL and not just on the apps - 10/10 the Dirt Dog highly recommends)
Step 8: Follow up within 2 days with a phone call and ask them out for this coming weekend Friday or Saturday night.
Step 9: IMPORTANT - come up with a good game plane for date night. Get a dinner reservation, get an activity planned. Let them know in advance what you are doing so they can dress appropriately. I know you are gunna roll off the couch and head to date night, but they are not. They are going to stress about what to wear and call at least 6 different people on FaceTime to ask their opinion.
Step 10: I highly recommend you bring flowers to the door step. I’m not covering that you go to the doorstep, because if you don’t do that you have no hope here. Women want men to date them. You don’t need to break the bank on flowers. Head to Trader Joe’s. Grab 2 different kinds of flowers. If you don’t know what matches find the closest looking lady to your mom at TJ’s and ask her. Wrap the 2 flowers into 1 bouquet with paper. Bonus Points you can cut open a TJ bag and use that as the paper.
Step 11: Be a gentleman on the date. She isn’t there to hear your life story. Ask her about her. For every 1 question you answer, ask her 3. Open Doors, pay for the meal, be polite.
Provided you follow most of this guideline you are highly likely to get yourself an opportunity for date number 2.
Keep going until you find someone that you can’t imagine not being around all the time. That’s when you have found a good one for you.
My life is complete with my wife as my companion. I wish you the same fortune in life. Happy Hunting.

Ironically, some of the ugliest 3D modeling/animation I've done is also the most popular on TikTok, lol.
I think I'm going to do some more PSX inspired horror stuff when I have some free time.
No hate on gym bros and I'm wishing Joey a speedy recovery.
But incidents like this are part of why I personally believe exercises like yoga, pilates, and calisthenics combined with an ayurvedic or mediterranean diet, are much better for you than going crazy on weight lifting.
I think my hottest VR take is that while Half Life Alyx is an amazing technical achievement that's incredibly immersive, it's not really that fun to play as far as games go.
I don't really get the hype around being able to play it on mobile VR other than it being a benchmark.
Got laid off from my gamedev job this past month and now the yoga studio I teach at, which used to be so busy there were waitlists for classes, is struggling getting with financially unsustainable low class attendance.
What is with this economy? 😭

Today, I got laid off from @androidcentral, along with the rest of the staff. I've enjoyed 7 absolutely amazing years there (5 of which were full time), and am beyond thankful for the opportunity to wake up and be a tech journalist every day.
If you're hiring, my DMs are open!
Currently looking for new work. I'm a software engineer with a specialty in XR.
I have experience with Unity, Unreal, Lens Studio, and more.
Some languages I work with are C#, C, Javascript, and Typescript.
Any leads will help, even short term contract stuff would be appreciated!
Been working on this game here and there in my free time.
It's a physics based tactics game that's basically a cross between Kirby's Dreamcourse and Final Fantasy Tactics.

I'm being laid off sadly from a job that I love.
I just wanna make cool stuff and be able to pay my bills.
If you know of any positions available now or in the near future, please let me know.
Happy to do full-time, part-time. or contract work.
I miss when AI videos felt like an acid trip.
It's way more fun than it being a weird way to trick old people for engagement.
I wish when you bought a movie digitally it was like when you bought a DVD or bluray, where it's has its own UI, deleted scenes, special features, directors commentary, ect.
All that stuff was so awesome to consume when you were really in to a movie.
