I just graduated a few weeks ago. I was class rep all through my stay in UI Law so I knew nearly all my classmates on a personal note.
The ones who worked every last day just to feed and afford the basics.
The ones we had to crowdfund for.
The ones who were in and out of hospital and always called to take excuse because while we’re writing yet another test, they can’t make it because they are on a hospital bed for the umpteenth time that semester.
The ones who got overwhelmed and depressed.
The ones who lost family and/or friends and just couldn’t find their way back.
The family men and women who just had other responsibilities and cant give it as much time as the others.
And it goes on and on…
The most important thing I learnt from being class rep is not leadership or service. It is to give people grace when it comes to these things.
There are still those who do not care and just want to graduate with whatever but mehn, more than half the time, life happened and it takes different forms.
Leave people alone. Let them celebrate their 2:2 if they want. YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT TOOK TO GET THERE!
And I really hope you never have to know.
Na the guy whitewash Buhari that year

Let me be very clear since some people are missing the point.
I am not calling the entire car industry a scam.
I am not saying arbitrage is illegal or doesn’t happen everywhere.
What I’m calling out is undisclosed damage, misrepresentation, and information asymmetry — where sellers know the full history of a car and buyers don’t, and that gap is exploited.
If a car has damage and it’s disclosed, priced accordingly, and sold transparently — there is no issue.
The problem is when damage is hidden, downplayed, or outright erased so the buyer can’t make an informed decision.
TrueSpec’s mission is simple:
Transparency, verification, and accountability in vehicle history.
Not witch-hunting. Not virtue signaling. Not laziness.
If transparency feels like an attack, that says more than any tweet ever could.
Why do we always do this nonsense all the time?
I am pleased to provide an update on the administrative progress regarding the match bonuses for our national team at AFCON 2025.
The Federal Government and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) have successfully streamlined the foreign exchange processing to ensure our players are rewarded without further delay.
Going forward, the process will be fully streamlined to ensure faster, more predictable disbursements aligned with international best practice.
Here is the current progress:
• ✅ Funding: All group-stage bonuses were fully released and have now cleared the necessary regulatory stages.
• ⚡ Acceleration: We have implemented a fast-track conversion process to move funds into foreign currency, honouring the players’ preferences.
• 🏦 Disbursement: The final transfers to domiciliary accounts are currently in flight. Players can expect these funds to reflect starting today or tomorrow.
Our focus remains entirely on supporting the team’s welfare so they can maintain their incredible momentum in the knockout rounds.
We move forward with one goal: Bringing the trophy home! 🏆

It's makes sense when people like Mikel speak on national team representation.
Foreign players who didn't prioritize playing for the Eagles in their prime should not turn around when they dont make the Foreign nations' team to deny those who have actually labored for the Eagles.
You journalists are the problem
🚨 What Eric Chelle is doing to journalists is bad.
Journalists were subjected to do media parley with the players 🇳🇬🦅 under the cold whether in an open field for the first in Super Eagles history.
Journalists were beaten by rain because Chelle doesn't want journalists around Super Eagles 🇳🇬🦅 camp.
Locking down training sessions for three days is unprofessional.
I wish him well against Mozambique 🇲🇿.

I’ve had a renewed resentment towards Naija’s past and present leaders since going on this trip. It’s a bitter pill to swallow, seeing another African nation excel and build such a functional system with far fewer natural resources than we have.

Many years ago, my friend went to a hospital in D-Line, Port Harcourt. No one attended to him because they were doing morning devotion. He couldn't believe his eyes, and after some minutes, he couldn't take it any longer. He started shouting at them, in his British accent that only comes out when he is angry.
They termed him a devil and continued praying. In fact, the praise and worship intensified. I wish I were making this story up.

You think you’re untouchable until life sneezes in your direction. A sickness. A loss. A job gone. And suddenly, the same ground you mocked becomes home. No one is above life.

This Malami drama is medicine after death. if your systems, institutions etc can’t stop a govt official from stealing tens to hundreds of billions of naira, then you have a useless system. These dramatic EFCC cases and seizure of property is all noise.

Seeing as you want an escalation, I'll repeat this for a wider audience.
1. In 2019, you approached my client to invest N100m in forex trading.
2. He gave you N10m to test your capacity con the agreement that you'd pay him back in 3 months with interest.
3. You failed to pay him.
4. You then presented him with bank cheque(s).
5. After giving him the cheque(s), you called your account officer to stop the cheque and lied to him that you had made alternative payment arrangements.
6. Due to your failure to repay, he approached the police who charged you on the grounds that you gave my client a dud check.
7. You were acquitted on the grounds that your contacting the bank to stop the cheque meant you didn't have the intention to defraud him.
8. However the Court established that you collected N10m from my client and Ordered you to repay.
8. You paid N4m.
9. After paying that sum, you filed an appeal. You have failed to make a further payment.
I have made these statements to put the public on notice that anyone who gives you money for an investment is likely to lose it and I make this statement based on your admission of failed business transactions in Court and your failure to repay my client.
Is there anything I missed? Everything I have stated above is potentially defamatory. I challenge you to sue me.
Kindly take this post as a waiver of the need for a pre-action notice. Please tell me where you'd like me to send my address for service so your lawyers can draft processes and serve me as quickly as possible.

Most Nigerians don’t understand technical discussions.
It’s why election campaigns have retarded speeches. “Na statistics we go chop”
Welldone Michael and team. We need to get to a point where airlines, their management and investors are scared to just take people's money and leave them stranded.
On Thursday, a lady reached out to me. Her daughter was stuck in Istanbul while her son, via a different flight, was stuck in Morocco. Both were heading home to Nigeria.
She sounded quite distressed and aggravated.
While Ifueko Abdulmalik reached out to the airline, I stayed in touch with the good lady, providing assurances that all would be well.
By nightfall, I had contacted both of her children and spoken to them separately, and promising that they would arrive home safely.
Having enforced the regulations, the airlines airlifted both passengers and they safely the first thing each sibling did was text me about their safe arrival. Woke up to a text from their grateful mother.
................................................................
A Nigerian passenger was stranded in an African country. They reached out to me late night. While speaking, I heard some shouting and cursing. I asked what it was, and I was told that some of the Nigerian passengers on that disrupted flight were starting to become unruly.
Just like we have done on numerous occasions, I asked the passenger to place their phone on speaker and have all of the passengers converge around the phone.
I then proceeded to educate them about the consequences if they became unruly. I was calm, but firm:
"I can ensure your safe arrival home, but I will be unable to help you if you get arrested. So, stay on this call with me and let us figure a way out together."
And that was how I stayed up with them from 11pm, Nigerian time, to 5:30am when my team finally secured an alternative flight for them to come home.
On their arrival, the phone owner reached out to confirm arrival, and most of the tired passengers wanted to express their gratitude. Their kind words made the sleepless night worth it.
Still had to be in the office at 9am.

These are the moments that my team and I live for. The entire NCAA Consumer Protection Department, FO&A unit, and the PR staffers have evolved into a consistent wheel of progress.
To the unsung heroes of my directorate, I wish you all a Merry Christmas. We, who have no leave and no holidays, salute you!
