Really I can’t say this enough. If you are building a new lab. Just start by checking out all the amazing opensourced science that has come from @realkaranahuja. And he is now multiplying via students. 🙏 interactive AI tools just when we most needed them.
We just released the code for MobilePoser showcased at #UIST2024. A real-time system that captures full-body pose and global movement using consumer devices. Amazing work by @_VascoXu and @JesseGao13
I took part in the DEI Workshop at the @tc4re #RaceToTechSummit, and the data shared was eye-opening:
- Only 9% of the tech workforce come from lower socio-economic backgrounds
- 5% are Black
- 0.07% are Women
- Just 14% of ethnic minorities hold senior roles
