As we argue about the Iranian religious dictatorship which for 47 years has chanted “death to America” and sought to get nuclear weapons and missiles to reach the United States we ought to remember President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s warning on September 11, 1941 “When you see a rattlesnake poised to strike, you do not wait until he has struck before you crush him."
If we back down we are putting Chicago or Cleveland or Seattle of other cities at risk of an Iranian nuclear weapon.that is the threat opponents of victory in Iran have to explain.

I want to celebrate the bravery of thousands of people who are engaging in protest against the oppressive regime in Iran. I remember vividly when the Ayatollah Khomeini was swept to power some forty-six years ago, and I have witnessed the steady and vicious attacks on human dignity perpetrated by the corrupt theocracy he established. Moreover, I’ve watched as the Iranian kleptocracy has systematically de-stabilized the Middle East by fostering Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations. Please God that this dishonorable government, which has been a source of so much mischief and suffering these past several decades, will find its way to the trash-heap of history.

Everyone can foster unity by overcoming inevitable misunderstandings with patience, humility, and even a good dose of humor, as Pope Francis taught us.

Christ's peace is not the silence of the tomb after a conflict, and it is not the result of subjugation. Peace is a gift that gazes at others and renews their lives. Let us pray for this peace, which is reconciliation, forgiveness, and courage to turn the page and start again.

Lots of people have strong opinions
about Qatar.
I think one of the most over looked parts of this whole week is the fact that @Boeing failed to make a plane for the President of the United States.
That is very embarrassing for Boeing.
Surprised they aren’t more ashamed.

This Saturday, October 19, 2024, is the 40th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Father Jerzy Popiełuszko, a truly great Catholic priest, who was the source of tremendous spiritual strength for the Polish Solidarity Movement and, indeed, the entire nation of Poland, in the 1980s. Yesterday, in Chicago, I was honored to sign a Commemoration about this solemn anniversary and present it to Father Jerzy’s nephew, Marek Popiełuszko, as well as receive from him a book of Father Jerzy’s sermons and other beautiful mementos to remember the life of this extraordinary man of heroic virtue.

We're done with the Democrats. 60 years of false promises... Now they prioritize the LGBTQ and y'all are still voting for em? White people are all racist, except Democrats? The logic doesn't even square. We're done with it... American Citizenship! Real Simple. Freedom! #Godspeed

This incident raises several serious questions in my mind and answers one.
The first question being, ok the teacher was fired, but what about their teaching credentials? They should be revoked permanently. Do our statutes and regulations demand this? If not, I will be filing legislation to ensure they do. This person should never again be put in a position of public trust overseeing the safety of children.
The next question is, under our laws do the parents have standing to sue both the educator and the district? They should, and if they don't I will be filing legislation to ensure they do. I wonder if the same people demanding our police be stripped of qualified immunity will try to stop it.
What, if any criminal laws were violated here? As details become available, I will examine this issue in-depth and if there is no felony currently in law for this, I will be filing legislation to make one. In my mind, there is no difference between what happened here and if the teacher had broke into their home in the middle of the night and whisked the child away. The parents were led to believe their child was somewhere safe.
This act so shocks the conscience of anyone who is a parent that it calls out for both justice and protection.
I know Democrats will try to make it about "reproductive rights", but it's not. This is about someone in a position of authority over a child abusing that authority. This is about an adult grooming a child to commit an act that the child does not have the ability to understand or make decisions about on their own. Democrats forced through a law making the minimum age to get married be 18. They told us that anyone younger than that couldn't make that kind of a decision and that they were too easy to coerce into making that decision. Apparently they don't feel the same about serious medical procedures.
Is it about abortion? No, not per se. It's about a serious medical procedure where there is the distinct possibility of serious after effects up to and including death. Keeping this a secret endangered that childs life, both during the procedure and in the days and weeks after. What if that child developed an infection and went sceptic? No parent was aware there was even an issue to look out for. That child could have been found dead in her bed from infection, shock, or blood loss the next morning and the parents would not know why. What about the child's medical history? Did the teacher have access to know if the child had any medical conditions that would make the procedure a high risk, and perhaps require overnight observation in a hospital?
I've seen Democrats in this platform call this teacher a hero. Well I think she's a monster. A parent locks their doors at night and puts in alarms, cameras, gets dogs and more to make sure that some monster does not sneak in their home in the dark of night and take their child to do horrible things to them. Things that may result in them being permanently physically or mentally damaged and even dead. As a parent we take these steps to protect our babies from the monsters in the night, never thinking that it might be the noonday devil that is the more dangerous. The one your child trusts and respects because we tell them to. The one who has unrestricted access to your child because our laws force us to allow it.
This brings me to the one answer this horror provides. The Democrats ask why we need even more access to School Choice? This is why. Because you force us to just to keep our children safe. #NHPolitics #leavethosekidsalone

On this Trinity Sunday let us all seek repentance, reparation and atonement for the sins of blasphemy & apostasy against Jesus Christ and His Church. Satan has been conquered by Christ but we MUST state & live unequivocally & without compromise that Jesus Christ is Lord. We must denounce satan & his evil agenda of abortion, sexual immorality, clerical corruption, ignoring our God given free will, and his focus on worldly issues rather than proclaiming the Gospel and the salvation of souls.
It is a travesty that high ranking prelates in the Catholic Church, the Church that Jesus Christ established, are undermining the Faith & compromising the Truth at every turn. They remove faithful priests because their fidelity to the Truth runs contrary to their evil agenda. They promote evil clerics whose blasphemous acts are notorious and blatant. They embrace worldly ideologies that at worst are mortally sinful and at best are social issues distant from the salvation of souls, the primary mission of the Church.
Let us end the silence on this Trinity Sunday and denounce this evil corruption of Christ’s Bride once and for all.
