I'd easily put the Hand fight from Spider-Man: Brand New Day up with the train fight scene from Spider-Man 2.
The way the ninjas all work as a single force to give each other momentum is so very cool.

The DCEU was such a mess
- Killed Jimmy Olsen immediately
- Gordon would’ve been killed
- Bruce would’ve cucked Clark and gotten Lois pregnant
- Killing off Batman being planned after we barely had him in the universe
- Not understanding either Batman or Superman as characters….
It truly felt like they just wanted to shit all over DC and I’m so thankful it’s over
There were some good ideas in it, but 80% of it was a dumpster fire. I don’t understand how people want THAT back
Plot details on Ben Affleck's cancelled ‘BATMAN’ film have been revealed:
• Deathstroke would be the main villain, dismantling Batman's life after thinking he killed his son
• Deathstroke would have killed Gordon & taken Alfred hostage
• Batgirl appeared, almost getting killed with Batman in one sequence
• The film's finale had a major showdown between Batman & Deathstroke inspired by a CGI fight sequence from ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’

Just because something was considered the going rate doesn’t make it any less exploitative. Little Richard helped build rock and roll, yet had to fight for royalties from his own music. Decades later, Michael Jackson ended up owning the publishing rights to “Tutti Frutti” through ATV. This is why you can’t talk about rock and roll history without talking about how Black artists were treated by the music industry.
Little Richard sold the rights to Tutti Frutti for $50. Elvis recorded it. Pat Boone outsold him with it. Michael Jackson ended up owning it.
His own records paid him half a cent a copy.
In the video below, he walks onto the Grammy stage in 1988 to present Best New Artist and reads out his own name. Then he explains where the money went.
He signed with Specialty Records in 1955. Black artists of that era often got no royalties at all. White artists got 3 to 5%.
"Whoever heard of cutting a penny in half," he said later.
The label's owner, Art Rupe, paid him that $50. From then on, the label owned his song.
His Tutti Frutti hit No. 2 on the R&B chart, the one most white listeners never saw. Boone's version went higher on the pop chart.
In 1984 he sued for $112 million in unpaid royalties. It settled out of court. The terms were never made public.
A year later Michael Jackson bought the ATV catalog, and Little Richard's songs came with it.
He never won a competitive Grammy. In 1993 the Academy gave him a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Forty years after Tutti Frutti, TLC sold 10 million albums and filed for bankruptcy. Same business, new decade.
Was he robbed, or was half a cent the going rate for a Black artist in 1955?
Tomorrow: a bigger name and a worse contract.

The French Revolution was violent. The American revolution was violent. The Russian Revolution was violent. Freedom has never been won peacefully.

🚨 ¿ESTAMOS A PUNTO DE VIVIR LA DÉCADA MAS INCREÍBLE DE LA HISTORIA?
el Tesla Roadster podría ser solo el primer paso hacia algo mucho mas grande
imagina autos completamente voladores

I can kinda see why Ben Affleck wasn't satisfied with his Batman script.
Ben Affleck’s scrapped ‘THE BATMAN’ movie would have featured:
• Deathstroke killing Commissioner Gordon
• Batgirl’s debut
• Deathstroke taking Alfred hostage
• A revenge plot against Batman over his son’s death
