The Glock 19 is the ultimate compact carry version, but personally, I run the full-size Glock 17. Either way, Glocks are the undisputed gold standard of handguns. I’ve run countless pistols, and nothing matches their raw reliability and accuracy.
Let’s be honest: all the hate for Glocks only comes from people who dropped triple the cash on boutique pistols and can’t accept that a cheap, polymer platform simply outperforms their overpriced sigs & 1911's.
Running a surefire Tac light on this one.
Straight from the NSG Commando 🇮🇳 Syllabus: 2 head, 2 body - from High compress stance
Pulled directly from the training doctrine of India’s premier counter-terrorism unit—the National Security Guard (NSG)—this drill builds lethal throttle control and multi-zone accuracy under time pressure.

He hadn't smiled in days, terrified of his upcoming 12-hour surgery. Then, two Navy SEALs walked into his room.
10-year-old Cody had been in the hospital for weeks, his body broken from a terrible car accident. To save his spine, doctors had to put him in a "halo brace," a metal ring bolted to a vest to keep him still. It was painful, scary, and he hadn't smiled in days.
He was facing another, even more dangerous 12-hour surgery. The night before, his Child Life Specialist, a woman whose job it was to help him cope, asked him what his one biggest wish was. "I want to meet a real soldier," he whispered. "A real hero."
That specialist had a brother. He was a Navy SEAL.
The next morning, the call went out. A SEAL team was in the middle of a 48-hour urban training exercise just miles away. When they heard the request, the team leader didn't hesitate. "We're going."
Two operators, still in full combat gear—faces covered in camo paint, night-vision goggles flipped up—walked into the pediatric ward. The hospital went silent.
They entered Cody's room. He'd been crying, but his eyes went wide.
"Hey, Cody," the first SEAL said, his voice gentle. "We heard we had a real fighter in here."
"You're... you're real," Cody whispered, his eyes locked on their gear.
"We sure are," the second SEAL said, smiling. "And we heard you were going into a tough fight today. We wanted to give you this." He unclipped a patch from his vest. "This is our team patch. We only give it to the toughest guys we know. And you? You're tougher than any of us."
For 10 minutes, Cody wasn't a sick kid. He was a new recruit, being visited by his brothers-in-arms.

Of course it does
The same conditions that led to the failure of Arjun are being baked into Zorawar from day one and the entire light tank program, the outcomes will thus be the same
Unrealistic requirements, minuscule order commitments, a lack of accountability but this time there’s all of the added drama of 3 competing designs and bidders
We can predict where this will be in 10/15/20 years, it certainly won’t be with 1000++ light tanks in Indian inventory like the PLA has with Type 15s
Replying to @KSingh_1469 @VishnuNDTV
Something 25 years back - has no connection to Light Tank. It is on ground - fastest in the world any prototype made
The Drill Sequence:
1 Low Ready / Hunting Position
2 Drive weapon to target / Align dot
3 Safety off during presentation
4 Break shot (0.5s–0.8s window)
5 Immediately reset trigger & drive weapon back to safe
Notice the shift in Rep 2? A minor delay in safety manipulation or dot acquisition instantly adds 0.10s.

Failed SEALs? This Green Beret Recruiter Said BLACKWATER!
Jimmy Watson’s experience transitioning from the military to a Private Military Contractor (PMC) role with Blackwater highlights a stark reality that many veterans faced during the Iraq War. After serving two deployments as a Marine Corps Squad Leader, Watson joined Blackwater, eventually moving up to the role of Team Leader.
Watson has spoken candidly about the harsh realities of the private military industry. He has explicitly broken down the corporate branding of "contracting" versus the ground reality of mercenary work, pulling back the curtain on how highly trained combat veterans were utilized as expendable assets in chaotic war zones.

🇮🇳 India’s Private Warriors — The Reality Behind the PMC Dream
Does India have private security contractors with capabilities comparable to Blackwater, DynCorp or Triple Canopy?
Yes.
India has specialist private contractors whose work remains highly classified. Within India, their focus is primarily on training Special Forces, developing and expanding training protocols, and helping modernise India’s counter-terrorism and tactical capabilities.
Outside India, their roles can extend much further—protecting diplomats, securing sensitive institutions and providing specialist security in high-risk environments.
And that's about as much as I'll say about that. 😋
One example is Black Scorpions, an Indo-French venture associated with special operations training, urban combat, intelligence gathering, protective security, counter-surveillance and specialist extraction.
@harifoxtrot who is the founder of Unit 21 Group also runs Black scorpian which is the secretive PMC / PSC arm of the company.
But this leads to an important question:
How do you actually become a PSC?
This is where many defence enthusiasts get misled.
Many civilians who dreamed of joining the military or Special Forces see private contracting as an alternative route. Tactical schools have capitalised on this by selling "PMC courses", often lasting just two or three weeks.
These courses may teach useful skills—but they don't make you a contractor or a Special Forces operator.
Professional contracting requires training, certifications, experience and progressively more demanding assignments. The road is long, and often considerably harder than simply completing a few tactical courses.
So my advice is simple:
If firearms and tactical training are your passion, train. Learn. Get good at it.
But understand the difference between training for a profession and actually having that profession.
Passion and profession are two different things.

You can observe that he isn’t flailing around that glock in every damn direction.
This is what happens when a person knows how to *actually* use a firearm.
Pistol fundamentals come down to four things:
Muzzle discipline, proper grip, controlled presentation, and compression.
Keep the muzzle controlled, avoid flagging others, maintain a firm grip, and compress the weapon when moving or working in confined spaces.
Safety, control and consistency come before speed.
Remember - The pistol is one of the most widely used concealed-carry weapons for personal defence worldwide, but it is equally one of the most difficult firearms to master.

Some folks have been angered because my comment on trigger discipline was directed at a former army officer. Let me clarify. I would’ve commented on anyone who posts a pic or video like this online and has influence. If anything, veterans have a higher responsibility to ensure safety since that’s what they have been taught. There is no weapon that’s as dangerous as a pistol. When not handled with care, it can take the user’s life. And it doesn’t matter if there was no ammo in the mag. Knowledgable users will first start with the safety instruction. Guys like @indiaguns & @TWhitewalkerr who really know the subject will first emphasize safety. I know that we are a small community of firearm aficionados. More folks joining the gang is music to my ears. But with great power comes great responsibility
6 rounds, 12 yards, headshots only.
A simple-looking drill, but one that demands a high level of precision. The objective is to improve accuracy while training the shooter to maintain focus on a very small target area.
This becomes particularly relevant in scenarios such as hostage rescue and aircraft intervention, where the margin for error is extremely small.
The drill is ultimately about precision, consistency and control under pressure.
