This indeed a great loss for the NMR community. Alex has made so many contributions to us all for more than half a century. Impressive.
I really enjoy giving the lecture on practical aspects of NMR to our second-year chemistry students, where I run experiments on my @magritek spectrometer in the lecture hall. Thanks to @Carlsbergfondet for making this possible @AarhusUni @iNANO_AarhusUni @Chemistry_AU

On my way to @euromar2024 - by train… I’m looking so much forward to finally go to Bilbao after the conference was cancelled in 2020. First leg is Aarhus to Kolding.
Sixth leg is Paris-Hendaye. The change from gare de l’Est to Gare Montparnasse in Paris also went smoothly.
Fourth leg is Basel-Strasbourg, following only 10 min in Basel, but also the NightJet of Austrian ÖBB arrived with Swiss precision!
Second leg is Kolding-Hamburg, but where are all the football fans? Two weeks ago I took the same train the day before Denmark’s first match, and the train was full of fans… but this time there are none
