This is how the IDF responded to an Israeli woman reporting an attack on Palestinians by settler terrorists in Wadi Rahim, the West Bank: first mocking her, then hanging up on her. Two days ago, when European diplomats were attacked near Taybeh, the IDF ignored activists’ reports altogether. In both cases, the IDF offered a bureaucratic excuse for failing to fulfil its direct responsibility. The military, however, hasn’t failed. In fact, it has been quite successful in carrying out its established policy.
Every day, settler terrorists, funded by the state, injure people, slaughter animals, burn mosques and homes, uproot trees, and destroy property. They kill Palestinians and mostly get away with it. If, on the other hand, a Palestinian teenager throws a stone at the attackers, soldiers are authorised to use lethal force to “eliminate the threat.” Backing settler terrorists is the IDF’s policy.

Israeli settlers have been filmed beating Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine during a pogrom against Palestinian olive farmers. The Washington Post condemned the attack as ‘an outrageous and unwarranted attack’ on a clearly identified journalist.

A whistleblower revealed that Brazil's far-right Bolsonaro family dynasty met with Meta to discuss US plans to interfere in Brazil's election, to prevent Lula from winning.
Lula's Facebook and Instagram accounts were censored a few days before the first round of the presidential election.
This had a huge impact on the election, because Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, which are all owned by Meta, are the most popular apps in Brazil, and are hugely influential all across Latin America. (Jair Bolsonaro's son Flávio was declared the winner of the first round of the vote, by a narrow margin.)
Meta later admitted that Lula's accounts had been restricted, but it claimed that this was supposedly due to a "technical error"...
The whistleblower who disclosed this is Nadia Beller, a Bolivian journalist who was almost killed by hitmen hired by Fernando Cerimedo, a far-right Argentine political operative who oversees election interference, bots, and disinformation campaigns.
Cerimedo is closely linked to the US government and has worked for pretty much every right-wing leader in Latin America. He was photographed with Donald Trump Jr. and members of the Bolsonaro family, and he received an award at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida a few months before he was arrested for the failed assassination attempt against Beller, his pregnant ex-girlfriend.

This is insane: The genocidal Israeli colonial regime continues its rapid descent into even more apocalyptic fascism.
Israel's most influential think tank INSS, affiliated with Tel Aviv University, published this crazy white paper. It was written by the former IDF chief of intelligence, Tamir Hayman.
He declares that "most Arab states are not genuine nation-states", and therefore that "undermining their stability is viewed as a natural process, one that Israel can manage more effectively than it can contend with strong nation-states, and one that it should even encourage".
This is deeply ironic, considering that Israel is a Western settler-colonialist project created in 1948 by European and North American imperialists. It is the case study of a modern colonial political construct that is "not a genuine nation-state".
But that's not even the worst part of the paper.
The top IDF official also explicitly stated that Israel must have more war, and never promote peace.
He wrote, "War is essential to national security and cannot be replaced by a state of peace", arguing that the pursuit of peace "is an expression of weakness".
"War is necessary, and preventive war is preferable", the former IDF intelligence chief concluded, stressing that the "constant presence [of war] is an asset to national security".
