RIP Anthony Geary. Of all the gods and goddesses in the Soap Opera Pantheon, he was our Zeus. Brilliant, iconoclastic and uncompromising, Geary defied his own legend as a heartthrob to make acting choices that were dark, brutal and altogether human. His 8 Emmys say it all. #GH
RIP Eileen Fulton. As superhussy Lisa Hughes on As the World Turns, she horrified (and by that we mean thrilled) millions with her flagrant bitchery and sex kitten hijinks. Many a soap vamp would follow in her Ferragamo’d footsteps but Eileen was the original Original.

RIP Leslie Charleson. This heat-seeking missile of talent gave us a Dr. Monica Quartermaine for the ages — brilliant, ballsy, dangerous when necessary & altogether unforgettable. But her best role was as herself: Thank you, dear hilarious Lester, for being YOU. Happy trails. #GH

RIP Emmy winner Marla Adams. What a privilege it was to watch her hold court as Y&R’s Dina, whose slow descent into dementia was an acting tour de force. Off-cam Marla was a hoot—fizzy, fabulous, wonderfully naughty. A truly grand star.

RIP Bridget Dobson, who gave us the soap of a lifetime when she created (with hubby Jerry) the deliriously radical #SantaBarbara. True TV royalty (her parents created #GH), Bridget was so ballsy, innovative and freakin’ brilliant that she had no imitators. Nobody even dared try.
RIP Tyler Cristopher. Oh, wonderful man, I am so sorry you have left us. Your Prince Nikolas was a sublime and exotic creation and General Hospital soared whenever you were on-screen. It was an honor to know you, to watch your exceptional work and to root for you always.💙 #GH
