Laken is charged with "abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, and concealing the birth of an infant."
Some have asked if abortion was available for her in Kentucky - No.
But, abortion is legal in Illinois, Ohio, and Virginia, states just over the border. If she didn’t want her baby, Laken could have driven 2 hours and 6 minutes to the closest clinic.
Laken waived her preliminary hearing, likely not wanting details of what happened to be discussed in a public hearing. (See previous tweet for details)
We await the Grand Jury's decision.
