Here's our fights edited together from BitB4, the first event I've competed at since 2020. Hopefully this is the start of some more regular competition for us.

The original B.A.W made of wood, HDPE, Argos drills and whatever we could grab off the shelf. Was both a solid robot and an excellent learning experience.
Recycled it during the pandemic to make a whole new bot, which with a little luck will be in an arena later this year.
Roboteers/fans/hobbyists etc. ASSEMBLE!
What was the first ever robot that you built? We all want to see pictures and hear the pitfalls and victories you had building it! #XRArmy

With events starting back up in a semi-regular fashion, I suppose it’s time to tell you what we’ve been up to.
After taking some time off in 2020-22, we’ve been eyeing up the smaller weight classes, and learning to 3D print, leading to the 5 half-build antweights you see below.
A shame we couldn’t make RoboNerd this year, it’s a brilliant event for everyone from fans to long time competitors.
And as always Team Panoramic have excellent photos to show off the bots in all their glory.

The news that we all feared.
The sport couldn't exist without marshals volunteering their time, which makes losing one even more tragic.
Rest in peace.
📰 STATEMENT - July 31
The British Automobile Racing Club is saddened to confirm that as a result of an accident that occurred during a race meeting at Brands Hatch circuit today (Saturday 31 July), a volunteer marshal tragically lost their life.

The amazing creations of Mark Setrakian from our friends @testedcom
Mark Setrakian shows us the operation and design of his Axis robots -- as featured in @BattleBots -- and demonstrates how he creates mesmerizing animations for his creations using layered algorithms akin to musical compositions. Watch: bit.ly/3tnv7aj
I don’t think I have enough screens for this weekend.
@F1 in Spain, @FIAFormulaE in Monaco, @BTCC at Thruxton, @BritcarNews at Snetterton.
So much excellent racing to choose from!
Back around Christmas time I started an antweight using @BristolBotBuild antweight kits and a @MonsoonRobot weapon... I should probably get around to finishing it at some point.
RIP to the most famous voice in motorsport.
Thank you to the person who bought a sticker from our Redbubble before we even got around to promoting it!
We now have both our logo, and new Big Ass Wedge merch available to those who want to show support.
