#picsoftheday the kids got fed for the first time in weeks. The unrest in the neighborhood has made it difficult to help our kids. People can't go outside bc there's so much violence. We don't know what's going to happen next, but we're happy to feed the kids, even just for today

Today is national girls and women in sports day! Our program has over 120 female players. When we expanded to include female players, @tonysanneh was told girls don't play football. He said the program is closed until you find girls who want to join. 2 weeks later we had 2 teams. – at Haiti
Our players play soccer, learn English and computer skills, eat daily and attend school. Most of these female players would not be in school. Please consider a donation to help us pay for their schooling. #NGWSD
