𝖔𝖔𝖈. he doesn’t get the privilege of being able to enjoy the love of his wife because of his duties, he doesn’t get to enjoy victory when he knows that troy will fall anyways. and when he dies he is doomed to be at the mercy of the man who hates him the most.

𝖔𝖔𝖈. despite all the admiration and respect he gets from others hektor constantly feels lonely… because troy’s safety largely depends on him, because he fights this inner battle that nobody will know or understand, because he knows that he’ll ultimately die alone.

Dionysus is far more observant than he’s given credit for. Most wouldn’t catch onto the wariness Hektor dares not express ，the 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗺 in his eyes tampered only by his composure && the exhaustion that he feels.
