The Union remains committed to honestly bargaining a fair contract in the spirit of our shared values. We hope management lives up to that value when they return to the bargaining table with us.

It’s now been four months since any new agreement on an individual clause for the contract and Management hasn’t offered a wage proposal since March. In our lone in-person bargaining session, the Union offered counters on at least 10 sections, while management offered not one.

On Tuesday November 7 2023, The Public Interest Union filed an Unfair Labor Practice charge with the National Labor Relations Board over The Public Interest Network management’s failure to meet their legal obligation to bargain in good faith toward a contract.
