The New York Times has a new piece asking how much of the opposition to Abdul El-Sayed is anti-Muslim. Honestly, some of it is. But some of it isn't, and we shouldn't pretend otherwise. I don't care what his mother did in Egypt in the 1970s, and it’s not his responsibility what a half-sister he wasn't raised with has posted, including her praise of the 7 October massacres. But I do care that El Sayed did sign a letter supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in 2012. Pointing out he did that is not bigotry. When a man drove his truck into a Michigan synagogue with 140 children inside, El-Sayed condemned it, then released a video the next day explaining that 'hurt people hurt people' because the attacker's relatives (Hezbollah members) had been killed in Lebanon. He apologised five months later, during an election campaign, but reminding people what he said at first isn't bigotry either. He has repeatedly declined to say whether Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state, and when he condemns terror groups like Hamas and the regime in Iran, it tends to come with a 'but.' We can condemn anti-Muslim sentiment without ignoring antisemitism. It's not hard.

Canadians should be able to go to sleep in their homes without fear. Thank you to Conservative MP Michael Guglielmin for introducing legislation to protect Canadian families from violent home invasions.
My Bill C-293, the Safe at Home Act, would establish a distinct violent home invasion offence, with tougher penalties and reverse-onus bail provisions. Families deserve to feel safe in their own homes. Children deserve to go to sleep without fear.

The "innocent female civilian" killed on October 2023. How many more like her? Meet Jamila Al-Shanti, first woman elected to Hamas's political bureau, a member of the Palestinian parliament, and founding leader of Hamas's women's organization. She was also the widow of Hamas leader Abdel Aziz Al-Rantisi. It has everything, weapons, tunnels, rockets, machine gun fire, and all of it with women around her.
🧵When Israel captured senior Hamas official Mu’in al-Arabeed in Gaza on Sept. 1, 2026, most attention focused on the operation. But there is another part of the story. According to Palestinian accounts, his wife, Samah al-Khalidi, reportedly “took up arms” & joined the fight. She is just one example of why "woman" doesn't automatically mean "innocent civilian"

The lawyers at @TorontoPolice need to get their story straight on the Charter rights of protestors. Either they can stand on a busy road, or they can't. If TPS allows "pro-Palestinian" and pro-Hamas supporters to occupy Yonge Street, while denying cyclists (and other activists) the right to occupy Bloor St W, someone's rights are being violated. Unless, of course, they're more concerned about ethnic optics than the Constitution. markmcqueen.substack.com/p/p…

A Tennessee white supremacist has just been sentenced to 17.5 years in federal prison for firebombing a civil rights nonprofit and attempting to help Hezbollah hunt down tens of thousands of Israelis. Regan Darby Prater, 28, obtained a document supposedly containing the personal information of more than 35,000 people affiliated with the Israeli government and passed it to someone he believed was connected to Hezbollah, with the chilling instruction: “Start the hunt.” And that's only part of the story. In 2019, Prater used a homemade napalm-based incendiary device to burn down a building belonging to the Highlander Center, a nonprofit associated with the American Civil Rights Movement, causing more than $1.2 million in damage. Before the attack, he spray-painted the symbol of the Iron Guard, a Romanian Nazi paramilitary organization, in the parking lot. The same symbol had been engraved on the rifle used by the Christchurch mosque terrorist just two weeks earlier. Prater admitted that his attack was motivated by white supremacist ideology and hostility toward the organization's civil rights and religious educational work. So here we have an actual neo-Nazi, inspired by fascist movements, attacking a civil rights institution while simultaneously attempting to assist an Iranian-backed Islamist terrorist organization in targeting Israelis. For all the supposed ideological differences between white supremacists and Islamist extremists, their hatred of Jews has a remarkable ability to bring them together.

This is such a weird thing in Canada now: Elon Musk Derangement Syndrome. Starlink: Doug Ford paid to kill a $100M rural internet deal. No replacement. SpaceX: Ottawa & Quebec lent Telesat $2.5B to compete, more than it’s worth. Tesla: Carney pledges $2.5B for Ontario EVs.
Prime Minister Mark Carney commits $2.5 billion so Ontarians can "build the connected and electric vehicles of the future," calling it the next step in Canada's plan to lead global EV production.

Twice as many Christians have been murdered by Islamists in Africa in the past year than Palestinians in Gaza during the past three years of war. Yet, the media has entirely ignored the ongoing slaughter of Christians in Africa.

Tonight, as I was leaving a restaurant on 14th Street in New York around 10 p.m., this Muslim woman took a prayer rug and a niqab out of the trunk of her car, put the niqab on, laid the prayer rug down, and started praying on the street. I grew up as a Muslim in the Islamic world, and let me tell you: this is absolutely part of an organized effort to flood the public square in the West with Islamic symbolism. First of all, there is no Islamic prayer at 10 p.m. Even if she missed the Isha prayer, which takes place earlier in the evening, she has until dawn to make it up. So why choose to pray on the street at 10 p.m.? Second, a Muslim woman who does not wear a niqab or hijab in her daily life would never normally have a niqab sitting in the trunk of her car. She is clearly not strict enough to wear it every day, so why would she suddenly be so strict about missing a prayer that she carries a niqab in her trunk specifically for this purpose? Third, in almost any Islamic country, you would never see a woman praying on the street at 10 p.m. This would be completely unacceptable. If she were genuinely worried about praying, she could simply wait until she got home, especially since a missed Isha prayer can be made up before dawn. I can tell you with full confidence that these scenes we keep seeing of Muslims praying in the streets of the West are intentional. They serve to assert dominance, normalize Islam in the public square, seize ground, and demand exceptional treatment that immediately turns into claimed rights. Bad-faith acts like this are signals of the same project that turned many cities in Europe into shitholes. Exceptional threats demand exceptional measures. Islam must be banned in the West because it is not a religion; it is a hostile political ideology. Until that happens, the West will continue losing ground to this ideology every single day.

Abdul El-Sayed claims football promotes ‘toxic masculinity’: “Football is very much associated with a particularly masculine and often toxic masculine culture.” Let me get this right. Islam allows little girls to marry old men, and forces women to cover themselves up. But it’s the West and football that have a problem with ‘toxic masculinity.’ Got it. 🙄

The Muslim Brotherhood network never wastes a crisis. Two days before France's 17 October day of protest, EMF, the student arm of what France's own Interior Ministry calls the national branch of the Brotherhood, published a call for students, teachers, workers and "the whole social movement" to join the youth in the streets, from Paris to Marseille, called the state's answer violent repression, and then asked followers for a donation. That Saturday ended in looting, 2,397 arrests and 997 police and gendarmes injured, seven of them seriously. EMF did not build the anger, it just showed up with a donation button. BTW, the Muslim Brotherhood is banned in the UAE.

Usual suspect was 16 when he was arrested at Heathrow Airport has been jailed after being convicted of providing cyber-security support to groups including al-Qaeda. Yusuf Shah, from Ilford, was also found to have downloaded documents including instructions on how to make explosives and how to use different types of weapons. Analysis of Shah's phone found that he had accessed an online magazine published by al-Qaeda that contained information on how to carry out acts of terrorism, and had engaged in chat groups where he offered technical help. In a common sense world, his local mosque would be raided and his whole family deported, neither will happen in "Modern Britain".
