We're wrapping up Yu Miri's residency here at UChicago with a second event, “Sound & Voice in Yu Miri's Work,” featuring Yu Miri reading from The End of August, a panel discussion of her work with Michael Bourdaghs, Scott Aalgaard, Yuki Miyamoto, and me, plus a staged reading performance of one scene from the work-in-progress play OBON. We're also planning two staged readings of the new play, first at Logan Center for the Arts on the UChicago campus on 9/21 eventbrite.com/e/obon-staged… and a second at Theater Wit on 9/23 (more details on that coming soon).
