I think we need to have a serious conversation about Xavier Gilliam because what he’s doing right now for Tennessee’s defense is, arguably, historic from the defensive tackle position. Currently on a 12 game pace for 20 TFLs, 10 sacks, and 38 pressures. He’s the best Tennessee defensive tackle since, what, Malik Jackson probably? Also having to log around 40 snaps per game which is tough on any 300 pounder. The tape don’t lie either, he’s in the backfield constantly and resetting the line of scrimmage.
