The reason you’re never going to hear anything else about the Les Vegas shooting is because a belt fed machine gun was used. Any Infantry soldier worth his salt knows the rate of fire of an M240B. Furthermore, it’s nearly impossible to maintain such rates of fire when a bumpstock, especially from a prone position. Even a very experienced shooter would find it difficult to do, especially given the tension and stress of the moment.
