Training Leaders International

Our staff are together this week to encourage one another, pray together and plan the next season of training pastors. Would you pray with us? "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing." 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Encouraged by the conversations already happening at the PCA General Assembly. We’re grateful for every pastor, elder, teacher, and church leader who has stopped by the TLI booth to talk about the need for theological training around the world. If you’re at #PCAGA, come find Joost and Kevin in the exhibit hall. We’d love to hear about your church, your ministry, and your heart for the global church. And yes, you can still enter the TLI Authors Library / YETI giveaway while you’re there… but hurry, entries close soon!

TLI is at the PCA General Assembly this week! Joost Nixon and Kevin Hale are representing Training Leaders International in the exhibit hall Tuesday–Thursday. Stop by the booth to learn more about our work training pastors around the world, enter the TLI Authors Library giveaway, and explore ways to serve with us as a volunteer teacher or TLI staff member. We’d love to connect with pastors, elders, churches, and teachers who share a burden to see Christ declared through God’s Word and displayed through his church. Find us in the exhibit hall at #PCAGA.

“He saw a man blind from birth.” – John 9:1 What does it look like to see people in the way Jesus did, even people it might be easier to recoil from? “It means knowing you. Caring about you. Setting affection on you. That is what is happening in John 9.” Read more in this week’s Monday After by TLI founder Darren Carlson: trainingleadersinternational…

“Paul wasn’t allergic to conflict…By some metrics you might call Paul contentious. Even divisive.” – Darren Carlson So who is the divisive person, and what is the foolish controversy Paul writes about in Titus 3? And what does this mean for unity in the church? We’re grateful to be at Serious Joy this week. So many meaningful conversations already with pastors and leaders who love God’s Word and care deeply about Christ’s church around the world. At Training Leaders International, we serve where the church is growing faster than leaders can be trained, walking alongside local churches to equip pastors with Scripture for the long haul. If you’re here, stop by and say hello. We’d love to connect and share how God is at work through theological training across the globe.

What would it be like to hear God sing? The same God who spoke galaxies into being also sings over His people (Zeph. 3:17). A Father who delights. A Redeemer who rejoices. A Savior who quiets us with His love. This is the God whose Word we teach among the nations. This week’s Monday After from TLI founder Darren Carlson: trainingleadersinternational…

We’re at ETS Boston this week... come find us at the Training Leaders International booth. 95% of pastors worldwide have no formal theological training. You can help change that. Stop by to learn how your gifts and training can serve the global church. Learn more: trainingleadersinternational…

This week, TLI staff from across the U.S. and Canada are gathering in Minnesota to reconnect, refocus, and seek God’s direction together. It’s a time for prayer, worship, vision casting, and encouraging one another in the mission: strengthening local churches by sending teachers to train leaders in God’s Word. We’re thankful to be hosted at The North Church and for the opportunity to pray together with their pastors and staff. Would you take a moment to pray for: • Christ-centered unity • Fresh wisdom for the work ahead • Encouragement for every team member May the Lord use this gathering to renew our hearts for His glory among the nations.

Today marks the launch of Darren Carlson’s new book, Witness - Missional Devotions from the Book of Acts. The same God who turned the world upside down two thousand years ago is still changing lives and communities today. In this new 60-day devotional, Darren Carlson—founder of Training Leaders International—shares stories of modern-day Christians and draws parallels to the experiences of first-century believers in Acts. Each day pairs Scripture with reflection and a real-world story, giving readers a global glimpse of God’s ongoing work. Witness invites readers to pray for the global church, engage in their local communities, and see their place in God’s mission today. Learn more or order your copy: amazon.com/Witness-Missional…
