One of my favorite and craziest streaks in all sports is that a first-time entry school has made the NCAA Tourney every year since the modern March Madness era began. SIU Edwardsville's win in the OVC tournament tonight ensures that continues this year!
Tonight's Summit Conference results guarantee either a first-time entry or 20 loss team receives the league's auto-bid. SD/Omaha would both be first ever Madness participants. ND would tie Texas Southern for most losses for a tourney team. St Thomas sadly ineligible to Dance.
