New lab paper out in @SciReports. With the help of Trevor Rallo, a tremendous undergrad turned MS student, we did some #phenology experiments to investigate how egg hatching asynchronies and seasonality of hatching impacted #salamander demography. nature.com/articles/s41598-0…

Mentoring students at a MS/UG institution already feels fleeting. But losing that connection prematurely is even tougher. So, savor those moments you get to do science with students, as they're the best part of this job IMO.
