The time has come
I’m excited to announce the launch of my own Discord community to start the new year.
Going forward, I’ll no longer be working for BlackBoxStocks or posting on Substack. All of my focus, time, and energy will be dedicated exclusively to this server.

Background & philosophy
I’ve been been a student of options flow honing my craft for 7 years now. For the past five years, I worked live on voice every trading day - teaching flow, breaking down structure, and helping traders navigate real-time market conditions.
I’ve seen multiple market regimes and have learned what actually works — and what doesn’t.
The goal
This community is being built with three priorities in mind:

thanks for all the love last week, hard to get back in the swing of things on here so this is my attempt
spy/qqq inside day set ups today, mainly just watching the prior day low reaction for fail or reclaim today
if watching semi/ai trade ARM/NBIS have similar set ups - double inside days at big support areas again can watch for consolidation break and reclaim if you are bullish could produce a decent day trade - hard to short the hole here although trend is down
case of breadth expansion looks pretty poor on this RSP set up so far - just still piecing clues together and taking each day at a time, mega cap earnings, FOMC, mid terms should continue to muddy the waters

Cherish every moment with whomever or whatever you love. We lost our sweet Gia this morning completely unexpected. Totally fine last night and within 6 hours of waking up she was deathly ill and taken from us. Pet your animals a few extra times tonight for us.

Don't make the mistake so many traders make by confusing a bounce with a trend reversal.
Remember what I said a few days ago. Short covering can create some powerful moves to the upside. That doesn't automatically mean a new trend is forming.
Let price prove the reversal before you start calling the bottom.

signs of rotation
if we get breadth expansion here are some sectors i think are at good areas
IYT - rising weekly 50SMA, golden pocket, IFVG - UBER is making its first higher low in a broadening formation and other transport names seeing EOY flow
IHI - base break out, retest in golden pocket - some of these names do start reporting soon - uptick in singular flow names
XLP - huge outside bar, WMT waking up, seeing flow in other sector names like the PG set up i posted earlier in the week
SMH - bearish gartley pattern is starting to take shape, would watch this monthly candle forming as its not a great look - some outliers and stronger names than others
i have joked a lot about the pokemon market being the top in the past year for equities when it blows up
it is currently experiencing the blow off top - this is not a good sign imo
if you like pokemon and are new to it, please do not buy or invest in anything modern i'd say past sun and moon era - hot take
it will all come down tho
guys this is one of the best things to look for on reversals that i've personally seen for weekly charts but everything is fractal and this should work on any time frame just higher time frame = more powerful the move
bullish outside bars at a significant discount or imbalance zone
bonus points if it wiped out prior range lows and immediately reversed
XLP now going outside month, insane move for staples
