Busy day on the watchlist. $ADBE and $LHX both went IN PLAY and reached TP1. $HWM also pushed through its first target, while $PYPL moved IN PLAY. Added $TMUS as a new SHORT idea and removed $CF and $CVS. That leaves 19 stocks on the watchlist, with 4 IN PLAY. I'll have the updated charts, setup details and full change log on Substack later.

And $LHX is joining the action today. Added this one to my Substack watchlist yesterday as a long idea. The setup went IN PLAY today and has already pushed through TP1. Still holding above that level for now. Let's see how it finishes the day.

Been keeping an eye on $ADBE since Sunday's watchlist. No reason to rush it. It was still in watchlist this morning, but things picked up nicely today. The long setup went IN PLAY, and price has already pushed past the first target. Still some time left in the session. Let's see where it closes.
8 stocks on my watchlist this week. Now it's all about how price reacts. 6 potential longs. 2 potential shorts. A good setup starts with patience, not prediction. I'm watching key price levels and waiting for confirmation before making a move. And the watchlist keeps evolving. New opportunities can emerge as the week unfolds. Follow for weekly swing watchlists, fresh setups, and real trades from entry to exit.

Nice move on $HWM today. Shared the short setup yesterday when it went IN PLAY. I also posted the exact entry reference ($220.29) and TP1 ($214.19) on Substack before today’s drop. Price is now around $208, well past that first target. Still a few hours left in the session, so let’s see where it closes. I’ll go through the full setup and what comes next after the bell.
12 new names on my watchlist. $HWM short is now IN PLAY. Watching longs: $FIS $HUM $AON $GD $HRL $HSY $LHX Watching shorts: $ON $SWKS $CDNS $SNPS $HPQ Charts + analysis on Substack later today!

US open in 30 minutes. Got 20 names on my watchlist, but I'm definitely not expecting all of them to set up. I'll be watching how price reacts around the levels I've marked. If something looks good, I'll take it. If not, I'm happy to wait. No reason to force a trade just because the market's open. Charts and setups in the post below.
12 new setups added. Full charts are now live. This week's watchlist is up to 20 stocks — 13 long ideas, 7 shorts. $HWM short remains IN PLAY. All 20 charts, setups and current price action analysis are in the updated Master Watchlist ⬇️ tjswingtrader.substack.com/p…

Good morning! ☕ A new trading week begins with markets trying to recover from last week’s sharp tech selloff. Friday’s close: • S&P 500: −1.1% • Nasdaq: −2.1% • Russell 2000: −1.7% • Dow Jones: −0.3% Technology and semiconductor stocks led the decline as investors continued questioning AI spending, financing costs and valuations. A mixed start across Asia this morning: • Japan’s Nikkei: −0.7% • South Korea’s KOSPI: +0.6% • Taiwan: −1.1% China’s Q3 GDP growth came in at 4.5%, slightly above expectations. Meanwhile, US futures are pointing to a rebound: • S&P 500 futures: +0.8% • Nasdaq futures: +1.3% Lower oil prices are offering some relief, but concerns around AI infrastructure spending remain. Earnings season is picking up, with $TSLA and $META among the major names in focus this week. The question now is whether buyers can defend the recovery or if this turns into another short-lived bounce.

New week, new setups to watch. The question isn’t whether the market will bounce. It’s whether buyers can actually hold the key levels. I’ll be watching $SPX and $NQ for signs of strength or another leg lower. No chasing. Just clear setups, defined risk and patience. Full swing trading watchlist coming tonight.

$AAPL | How I Manage Winning Swing Trades Most traders focus on finding the perfect entry. But knowing how to manage a winning trade is just as important. Here's how I approached my $AAPL swing trade: Entry: $340 after a trend continuation setup. TP1: Took 50% off as planned, securing partial profits. Trailing Stop: Moved the stop on the remaining position to around $340, protecting the runner near breakeven. Trailing stop updated based on developing price action. Why do I trade this way? Taking partial profits reduces my exposure while keeping me involved if the trend continues. If the runner gets stopped out, I've already secured a partial profit. If the trend extends, I still have a position to benefit from the move. I don't need to predict the exact top. I need a process I can execute consistently. Not every trade will be a winner, but the risk management stays the same. Process Over Prediction. How do you manage winning trades — take partial profits or hold the full position?
