Congratulations to Principal Adams & @NorthForestHigh for obtaining the campus’ first ever A under the State’s accountability system. The students and staff worked effortlessly and proved accountability is not just a word but actions!
I am ecstatic to support and work alongside Dr. Brown and the amazing students and staff at @KeyMS_Cougars. As a FIRST YEAR Principal, Dr. Brown not only moved her campus to an A but earned all 7 distinguished distinctions from the Texas Education Agency. #micdrop
Though this is only part of the NES Secondary Executive Leadership Team - we are showing up strong and making an impact on all campuses this year! I am grateful to be working alongside such strong leaders. #ironsharpensiron
In 2023, I was appointed as Principal at the lowest performing high school in HISD; the campus was also under corrective action from the State for inflated graduation rates. Fast forward 3 years later ⏩ @Sharpstown_HS went from an F to a B (84). Our students & teachers did that!
Congratulations to Principal Garza & @northside_hs on receiving an A rating and 4 distinction designations from the Texas Education Agency. I am elated to support this campus this school year and know that bigger achievements are to come!
I am so proud of the work that the Apollos did last year - the students and staff showed out! Not only did @Sharpstown_HS earn a B, but two State Distinctions in Math & Social Studies.
It’s only up from here! #BeSharp

🏈 One year ago today, Tre’ Perro was introduced as the 12th head football coach at Sharpstown High School.
Thankful for Coach Perro, his fine staff, and the critical roles they’re playing in developing our young men into future leaders.
