The opposite is true: Macron identified Franceβs structural problems years ago.
He proposed pension reforms in 2019 and 2023. Both faced massive protests. The 2023 reform was later suspended.
Now those who blocked reforms are back on the streets, protesting the consequences.
Macron will go down in history as one of Franceβs worst presidents. He has pushed a once-great nation to the brink of economic, demographic, and social ruin.
Had he spent his nine years in power focusing less on βPalestineβ and more on Putin and the putains de salauds threatening France from within, his country would be far better off.

Our assessment is that the wave of violence and arson accompanying the ongoing protests and riots in France, and its subsequent online amplification by international right-wing propaganda networks, may indicate a coordinated hybrid operation involving Russian intelligence services, in collaboration with actors linked to the United States and Israel. The extent of foreign involvement, including any coordination between the suspected actors, remains unverified. It warrants further investigation.

Chronisch verontrustend.

Onderschat de Russische invloed niet.
π¨Info about whatβs happening in France:
This is now serious nationwide public disorder, but France is not close to losing control of the country as a whole.
This started as a student based protest with modest demands concerning schooling and school conditions. Those protests created an opportunity for various groups to mobilise, groups set in confrontation and violence.
Amongst those groups are significant groups of immigrants and Muslims. The protests today appear to be coordinated nationwide.
Intelligence reports significant social media boosts, bots and viral posts suspected by VIGINUM (State agency tasked with detecting foreign influence operations) to originate from abroad, and has identified recent targeting by the βRussian Matryoshkaβ group.
The Interior Ministry now puts participation in protests at around 550,000 nationwide and 110,000 in Paris.
Local tactical control was lost at points in the day in Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Lille, Angers, Rennes, Nantes.
937 police and gendarmes have been injured (as at 7pm).
In summary, these arenβt simple protests anymore. They started with education related protests but these created opportunity for others, including migrant and Muslim groups and, possibly, foreign actors, to create real instability. France is now, as a result, moving into a significant public-order crisis. But the situation has not crossed into being a national breakdown of public order.
The next 24-48 hours will be crucial.
If the protesters are unable to maintain momentum and the situation calms down, then stability and the rule of law will pretty much return, leaving serious social scars and security concerns.
If the situation has not calmed, France may be required to deploy the military, as police and gendarmerie force deployments will require relief.
Finally, itβs important to note that unrest has spread, to a lesser extent at the moment to Belgium and Italy.
Some people here arenβt going to be having a quiet night.
Preventatieve administratieve aanhouding is onwettelijk.

Alice Weidel is saying that Zelenskyy βis not interested in peace,β and that in order to have peace in Ukraine, βwe need to take Russiaβs security interests into account.β
She is a straight-out Russian asset. Note how Alice recoils and refuses to acknowledge that Russia rejects making peace when cornered by the host. Instead, she pivots straight to money talks, still refusing to admit that what sheβs actually proposing is pushing Ukraine to surrender, leaving Ukrainians to be murdered under Russian occupation.
As for Russiaβs security concerns, itβs pure comedy. They were quite secure before they decided to invade Ukraine. So Russians are secure, except when they go outside of their borders.
Please do not vote for this vile creature. She wonβt just sell us out to Putin, she will sell out Germany, too.

This "Germany first" will quickly turn into "russia first" just like with American MAGA. Hope Germans are smarter than to fall for this

The U.S. didnβt supply a single Tomahawk to Ukraine.

Unreal: Germany's far-right AfD and far-left BSW just joined hands to pass a resolution calling for an end to Berlin's support for Ukraine.
The red-brownist horseshoe theory is alive in Germany and rearing its ugly head.

Weidel is terrifyingly stupid.
Ukraine has βalready lostβ the war against Russia, says @Alice_Weidel, co-leader of the Alternative for Germany party, which is leading German opinion polls. She told @zannymb, that Germany should pull the plug on support for Ukraine against Vladimir Putinβs invasion.

We need to take back control. π«‘
