@82ndPercentile Latest ep. Looking ahead to beating (😉) United 🧵 vs United I’d be looking at two things: how Spurs build past the first press, and whether De Zerbi protects against counters better than he has so far (think Forest). Team selection probably follows from that.

United feel like a team Spurs can manipulate if the build-up is brave enough, but the danger is obvious: lose it centrally and United can hurt you quickly. So I’d expect De Zerbi to compromise a little.
