A friend recently asked me why I take my cars to Bukoto for washing, yet I stay in Bulenga and attend work from Mulago, Wandegeya, Buloba and Kasanga.
The fuel I use driving to Bukoto alone could probably cover the cost of washing the cars elsewhere. 😂
But my answer is simple: I’m supporting a friend.
I can never feel bad about spending a little more to support a friend’s business. Even if I’m charged a little higher, seeing a friend grow and win is a win for me too.
Sometimes, supporting your friends means choosing them even when cheaper or more convenient options are available.
Support your friends. Their success is a win for you, too. 💪

Btw you can’t save the sheep😂 we can only save those who hadn’t joined the sheep yet. But for those already there you can’t save them. They’re on a spell.

We were in nursery school around 2005/2006. I was barely 6or 7years old when we were told that President Museveni was coming to Kabuyanda for a rally.
Our headmistress at the time organized us to sing for him. I still remember the lyrics of that song: “Our dear President, we’re Glady to receive you …” 🥹🇺🇬
We spent the entire day waiting, without even eating, just to welcome the President. He was deeply loved. Every time an aeroplane flew over us, we would shout, “Museveni! Museveni! Museveni!” 😂❤️
That day, we saw guns, security personnel, and cars we had never seen before. Isingiro was still largely a village and everything about that visit felt extraordinary. For us as children, it was a moment we would never forget.
Fast-forward to today. I am 25, turning 26 on the 18th of this month and the very same President I saw as a little child is still the President of Uganda.
Nearly two decades later, the memories remain vivid but so much has changed and so much still leaves us wondering.
Ohhh, my motherland, Uganda! 🇺🇬🥹
