After escaping Eulmore, 'Minfilia' was tired.
It was the first time she had to walk so much, and for so long, and for a child her age, it was tiring, but she didn't want to make her new caretaker angry.
So she kept on pushing herself to the limit of her own -
- strength.
Rubbing her eyes, after a few days of travel, the child looked up at the gunbreaker, waiting for him to knock on that door.
Il Mheg was a nice place, full of colours and new things for 'Minfilia', and so, she fidgeted besides him, eager to see new -
- things and meet new people.
But not before she could meet his friend.

—— Y-yes! Sorry, I didn't mean to stare. . .
She mumbled.
—— You look really pretty today!

—— He did! He's so nice to me. . . I would like to bake something for him sometime. . .
She really loved the Elezen, it was plain as day.
—— Me? I. . . Well, Urianger says I sulk. Like Thancred does. . .
She admitted, shyly.

—— Of course. . .
She sat down right besides him, and hushed, showing him a tin can full of cookies.
—— I have more cookies, Urianger gave me this tin can. . .
Then, a sigh.
—— I felt like that back in Eulmore. . .

—— You don't have to do that. . . It's alright to feel sad.
The child said, gesturing to the empty space next to him.
—— May I sit with you? So you're not alone. . .

She silently offered him half of her cookie.

She chirped, happily, then pointed towards the top shelf again.
Was she looking at him like a wet puppy because she was about to ask him to reach up again? Yes.
—— Can you get it. . .?
—— He told me!
Was she really talking to Thancred? She was beyond happy to be doing so, with that. . . Familiarity.
—— He said he tricked them by saying he didn't like tea and biscuits, and the faeries tried to upset him by bringing him an afternoon tea!
Surprised, and kind of excited to be able to bond with him in some way, 'Minfilia' smiled at him, even when he turned his back on her.
—— Urianger told me where he kept the tea. Did you know he. . .
She looked around, then whispered.
—— . . . He tricked the faes!
'Minfilia' closed her eyes for a second upon feeling the warmth of his hand over her head.
—— Oh. . .
She wasn't used to jokes, and it would take a while for her to get settled.
—— Hum. . . I was about to make some tea. . . Would you like a cup?
—— No one has but still people fall down all the time.
She said, her eyes fixed upon her guardian's back.
—— I didn't say you. . .! You're young! I was just worried thinking about. . .
The poor thing struggled with her own words.
