⠀ the most incredible mother and the greatest wife. she may not realize it but he thinks she’s the glue that holds everything together. she’s stronger than hes ever felt before. he loves her with everything he has. he’ll do anything to ensure they have the best life. ㅤㅤ⠀

‍ she’s well within her right to be exhausted, being a new parent would tire anybody out and he didn’t blame her for taking awhile to readjust. it’d be a process but thankfully she wouldn’t be alone. ‍ ‍

⠀ his lips press together as he suppresses a laugh when he feels her fall asleep, hand reaching up to delicately stroke through dark wavy strands. ㅤㅤ⠀

⠀ “oh, i can’t wait.” his smile forming into e grin as he follows her into the bedroom. a soft sigh escaping as he gets settled into bed beside her, arms curling around her waist. lips pressing to her shoulder. ㅤㅤ⠀

⠀ he returns the kiss tenderly, blinking as she breaks away. tongue clicking to the roof of his mouth. “tsk, very well.” he huffs but it’s clear he’s just teasing. evident by the small smile that tugs at his lips. “need anything?” ㅤㅤ⠀

⠀ he can’t help but chuckle, nose scrunching slightly as he smiles at her. “god, i’m so in love with you.” he murmurs, quiet. ocean blue gazing into starry sapphires. ㅤㅤ⠀

⠀ his brows raise in slight amusement as she sinks down into her chair. “mm .. alright.” he nods, shifting to his feet and making his way over as he took both her hands, gently pulling her up. “five minutes then?” he offers, metal & non soon curling around her waist. ㅤㅤ⠀

⠀ a soft laugh sounds. “cmon, let’s getcha back to bed .. i’ll take care of ben, don’t worry.” hand sliding down her arm to take her hand in his own. ⠀

⠀ his gaze is lifting from book he was reading, brows knitting together with concern as he carefully reaches out to garner her attention. right hand giving her arm a gentle squeeze. “hey doll . . you alright?” ⠀

⠀ usually are. ㅤㅤ⠀

⠀ hmm .. i guess we’ll just have to see. i trust you though. ㅤㅤ⠀

⠀ what did he do ? ㅤㅤ⠀

⠀ am not. i will admit he did get my stare though. but he got your pretty eyes. ㅤㅤ⠀
