If teams preferred to pitch to Helton over Walker, that was a miscalculation on their part, and a severe one away from Denver, and shouldn’t be something that is held against Helton.

Ballot #209 is from Thom Loverro. His only holdover was Billy Wagner but he expands his ballot to five this cycle with a gained vote for Todd Helton (net +3) and votes for first-timers Beltré, Mauer and Utley.

Hi! This was wrong. Not enough sleep. Helton is actually +4 after this ballot (9 adds, 5 drops overall). My apologies.
