One of the greatest Yinzers to ever pick up a football. Aliquippa legend. Pitt legend. NFL HOFer. Broadcaster. Actor. Entrepreneur. RIP Iron Mike 🙏

NFL legend Mike Ditka, who revolutionized the tight end position before becoming the head coach of the world champion 1985 Bears and a towering figure in the city of Chicago, has passed away, his family announced. He was 86.

This is the best angle of the Virginia Tech field goal. It was a miss. Refs got it right.

It’s so obvious, yet rarely ever questioned. Last year doesn’t matter anymore AT ALL. We have NO idea who anyone is yet - so it’s impossible to have strength of schedule or FPI yet … there’s literally NO data to go off. Nothing to measure, compare or judge yet. However, we create this arbitrary baseline to begin the year 🤷🏻‍♂️

SMU HC Rhett Lashlee at ACC Media Days: "Whenever some of y’all figure out how we can have pre-season strength of schedules and power rankings before anybody has played a game, y’all let me know." Sums it up pretty well.

ESPN owns the SEC Network. ESPN owns the Playoff broadcast. ESPN also builds the strength-of-schedule model that decides which SEC teams belong in the Playoff. That’s not a ranking. That’s manipulation.

This season, the SEC will start a 9-game conference schedule 🗓️ A likely result of the additional conference game is that every SEC team has a strength of schedule in the Top-20, according to ESPN Analytics.

Canada, keep your heads high. You may have lost the gold to America in both men's and women's ice hockey, but you can still be proud of that gold medal in curling that you cheated to get. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

My excitement level for tonight was a 10/10. The first day after the Super Bowl: 23-0 Arizona vs the future #1 pick and Kansas, who is 38-0 on Big Monday. What a buzzkill. I’m running out of excuses for Peterson.

Darryn Peterson is out for Kansas tonight against No. 1 Arizona, per a spokesman. “Darryn won’t play tonight. He has flu like symptoms. He went out with the team for warmups, but can’t go.”

So many people forget Jared Zabransky threw a pick six with a minute left! The Boise State QB was the epitome of that team! Went out there and won the game! The amount of adversity he overcame was unbelievable! A lesson for everyone! Truly remarkable!

Best game ever! Do not forget BSU shut down Adrian Peterson - Something like 50 yds in 4q’s. (He did better in OT)
