The issue wasn’t that we ran out of time. The issue is nobody wants to play for us. It’s why we ended up with our 9th choice right back.

Now we’ll have to massively overspend on a panic-buy in January and be back to being skint next summer.

How on earth are players choosing Sunderland over Everton. Gut-wrenching. This fella is going to be world class.

Regarding the right back: “The key is that we get the right person in the door and we don’t compromise on that” …29 year old makeshift right back Maitland-Niles… Lyon fans celebrating they don’t have to deal with him anymore. Are you sure we didn’t compromise, Angus?

🗣️| “We had to make a decision about whether we should try and get someone in early so they can enjoy the full preseason, or do we wait for the right person? At the moment, we’re waiting.” Angus Kinnear on Everton’s right-back problem, speaking exclusively in our interview with him - OUT AT 5PM! 🔵

I also feel sorry for players like Pickford, stays loyal and wants the best for us and gets what’s likely to be another season of mid-table shite.
