I'm starting to think that all the good the comic had was in spite of the way it was set up, and not because of it. Maybe the Kirkman run isn't kirkman, but Hasbro interference, as he wrote void rivals quite well. And now...the Energon Universe is returned to its purpose.

u/Georgieiskewl on Reddit got to meet Daniel Warren Johnson during a convention where DWJ mention how it sucked to work for Hasbro during his run on Transformers, the Deer scene almost didn't make it in and when asked if he would return, DWJ said no because of Hasbro.
