We’ve officially started prepping for our big mural project! Today, our mentor Jessica Jerome taught us how to work with oil paints. It was such a fun and inspiring day, and we can’t wait to start painting on our large panels. Stay tuned for more updates!

Blueberries, bilberries, and serviceberries are starting to ripen! It’s a beautiful time to connect with the land and appreciate what it offers, while being mindful to take only what you need. Looking for a way to use your berries? Recipe here: msvu.ca/wp-content/uploads/2…

Did you know every drum has its own voice? With Native Council, we used physics to listen to hand drums, saw their frequencies with DIY Chladni plates, and formed soundwaves with slinkies! Want to try it? Comment “ME” & we’ll send you the activity!

The Alexa McDonough Institute recently hosted its annual Girls Conference. It was a fantastic event attended by 300+ girls and young women. We’re so proud of our team members who supported it by speaking, volunteering, and helping to organize the event! A great job done by all.
