We are trialling new remote tachograph sensing equipment to crackdown on tired drivers posing a risk on the road.
This allows DVSA to pull data from vehicles fitted with smart tachographs as they travel.

New EU rules from 21 May mean that operators or users of vans and other light goods vehicles over 2.5t - 3.5t that transport goods for hire & reward from the UK into, or through the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein, need an International Operators’ Licence.
