You’re lying to Oregonians again Governor. United States Senate Democrats shut down the federal government and manufactured the crisis that you are taking credit for solving, and it’s BS. Republicans found resources for SNAP, to pay our military, etc. This Democrat manufactured crisis was one of the reasons I chose to run for U.S. Senate against Merkley who help lead the efforts to shut down the government!

For the first time ever, a United States president was okay with starving people during a government shutdown, purely for political gain.
@DanRayfield and I didn’t stand for that. We went to court and got the money back. When the ruling came down, Oregon was the first state to restore benefits to people’s SNAP accounts, and families were buying groceries that same night.

Quail Valley turned into 955 houses, Oak Knoll near Salem permanently closed after a $6M sale, Sandelie gone. Businesses closed by the thousands, unemployment stuck higher than the rest of the country, and you still lecture everyone else about ‘affordable public access’ and trees.
