Since the start of the Gaza war on October 7, 2023, Israel has received at least $21.7 billion in direct military aid, overwhelmingly provided by the United States. While other Western countries historically engage in smaller defense contracts or commercial arms sales, the global financial and resource aid provided directly to the Israeli government during this wartime period is almost exclusively driven by U.S. legislative appropriations and stockpiles.
