I think Socrates was right.
How many of his symptoms of a declining society so you recognise ?
A nice documentary of where Canada is heading, and soon the US if you don't wake up.
This is the way to combat the false lure of socialism to young women. With real stories. Great campaign from @IWV

NEWS: Elon Musk rejects the far right label in an exchange with The Economist
"I support the normal people. What you call the far right, falsely."
He challenged the interviewer to say what is extreme about 3 positions.
"Here are the principles and tell me which of these sound terrible. That we should have secure borders, that we should have safe cities, that we should have sensible spending. Which of those three are far right fringe?"
Elon then turned on the framing itself.
"I would like to just admonish you and the media for the absurd characterization of the far right. It is false and misleading and nonsense."
He asked that the exchange survive the edit. "Please keep this part in."
Elon said the same speeches get judged by who delivered them, describing a habit of reading Obama and Clinton speeches to people and telling them Trump said it. He named Rupert Lowe as an example of who he means by normal people.

Former UK PM Lizz Truss warns that Western nations are in the midst of a communist takeover seeking to replace core Western values—including individual liberty, national sovereignty and free speech—with complete state control over every aspect of life.
"Look what's happening in Britain. People are being arrested and jailed for things that they say on X."
"We've moved from being a free society—with a free economy and people able to speak freely—to a managed society, that is essentially managed by... expert technocrats."

This ‘Proud of Us’ video on slavery is well worth your time.
They have many other videos telling historical truths that are often kept from us
This is not just for kids!
All of us should watch them! 👍
🇬🇧 THEY TOLD YOU A STORY. 🇬🇧
Colonisers. Slavers. Oppressors. And you were supposed to feel ashamed.
Not for what you done... But for WHO YOU ARE. 🇬🇧
So we tested it. Britain wrote everything down, so we opened the books. 📖
Turns out fewer than 1 man in 10 could vote in the year Britain banned the slave trade. No woman could. Your ancestors could hang for stealing a sheep, get shipped across the world for petty theft, or go down a mine at 8 years old. In Manchester, the average age of death in a labouring family was 17.
They weren't running the slave trade. They were underneath it too.
Which is what makes what happened next worth knowing.
In 1772 an enslaved man named James Somerset walked free from an English court, because English law couldn't hold a slave.
In 1791, 300,000 families just stopped buying slave sugar. No march, no riot, just a decision made at 300,000 kitchen tables.
In 1792, 519 petitions carrying 390,000 names hit Parliament, most signed by people who couldn't vote themselves.
In 1807, Britain banned the trade.
Then the slave owners sent Britain a bill for the 800,000 people they still held. 💷 £20 million. About 40% of the entire government budget at the time.
The Treasury says it wasn't paid off until 2015. So if your family paid British tax before then, they helped buy 800,000 people their freedom.
From 1808 the Royal Navy spent 60 years hunting slave ships at sea: 1,600 stopped, 150,000 people freed, and 1,600 British sailors dead, mostly of disease, buried thousands of miles from home. ⚓
In 1816 they ended two centuries of Barbary corsairs enslaving Europeans.
In 1896 a war that lasted 38 minutes ended slavery in Zanzibar. 🇹🇿
Almost every country on Earth outlaws slavery today.
That fight was paid for largely at British expense, by British hands.🇬🇧
So why haven't you heard any of this?
Because within living memory, someone rewrote the story. You got taught the crime. Not the cure.
The powerful exploited the world. They exploited their own people first. It was those people who ended slavery. 🇬🇧
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
History got rewritten once, in living memory, by no one who was ever named or held to account.
We are ordinary people doing what ordinary people have always done. Opening the books. Refusing to look away.
This is how we fight back. Fact by fact. Story by story. Name by name.
We are the home of British heroes. There is a place for you in it.

This is the kind of video which should be being shown in schools up and down the country.
British people should be proud of their heritage. Not ashamed. 🇬🇧
Well, he has a point…
One of my favorite TRUTH BOMBS💣from President Trump at the United Nations:
"What makes the world so beautiful is that each country is unique. But to stay this way, every sovereign nation must have the right to control their own borders—and to limit the sheer numbers of migrants entering their countries. Proud nations must be allowed to protect their communities and prevent their societies from being overwhelmed by people they have never seen before. Where migrants have violated laws, lodged false asylum claims, or claimed refugee status for illegitimate reasons, they should in many cases be SENT HOME. And while we will always have a big heart for places and people that are struggling, the truly compassionate answer is to solve the problems in THEIR countries, not to create new problems in OUR countries.
According to the Council of Europe, in 2024, almost 50% of inmates in German prisons were foreign nationals or migrants. In Austria, the number was 53%. In Greece, the number was 54%. In Switzerland, it’s 72%.
When your prisons are filled with so-called asylum-seekers who repaid kindness with crime, it is time to END the failed experiment of Open Borders."
AMEN!

You cannot have a British government saying illegal foreign immigrants are the first legal priority over tax paying British people - this is an insane position to hold & expect the support of your people. As a government you are now officially working against the electorate
