When you realise that you left Chelsea for derbies against Rochdale and Altrincham
🚨 Petr Čech: “Roman was forced out. City are being pampered.”
“This is no longer only about a football club. It is about who is protected, and who is not. American owners. Russian owners. Arab owners. Are they treated the same? No.
When Roman was stripped of the club, the line from the FA was that the integrity of the game sits above the interest of any foreign national. That line has changed. This is now interest, and ties.
A supporter of City, dressed up as a fair statement, has arrived from Andy Burnham. That is not his job. Sport has a ministry. Let it work. A political office telling the game how a case should land is not neutral, and it is not small.
The message underneath is obvious. Do not push this club. Do not talk about a sale. We prefer these owners to stay. That is not fair. It is dangerous.
You do not want to lose the partner. Or you want to bend the competition. I do not know which. What I know is that money is now the subject.
A Russian owner was forced to sell and leave, with no FA charge and no Premier League sustainability breach in front of him. City sit on 115. They are being managed, appealed, and spoken for. Burnham backing the ownership is disappointing.
Roman put billions into Chelsea and turned it into a European powerhouse. He was shown the door. City broke the competition. A man convicted, still calling himself innocent because the paperwork was not perfect. That is this case.
The rules that protect every member club should be allowed to run when there is a defaulter. Or some clubs get a privilege. I do not think that is fair.
The delay, the appeals, the political comment — they are all on the table. In my book, City cheated. The outcome will say whether the game still has rules, or only friends.”

🚨 José Mourinho on Manchester City verdict: “I’d rather have a bit of a laugh about it…”.
“Being in my 60s, I’ll have to be lucky enough still to be here when the final verdict arrives”.
“Now a ruling will come, then an appeal… I’ll be 80!”, Mourinho told @CorSport.
NRS can barely handle their MAIN fighting game. They should really focus on just Mortal Kombat and make an actual good game this time that will be supported longer than a year or 2...
I know they have to care about money but in order to be successful in the long run you just have to make short-term sacrifices like supporting their game up until they launch their next one. That would make us MK fans happy.

FAQ for rival fans who deliberately conflate two completely different stories
Roman's Chelsea vs Mansour's City
Q1: What was Chelsea's status as a club when Roman bought it?
Before Roman bought Chelsea in 2003, they had recently won multiple European and domestic trophies and were on the rise and an UCL team. Finished 4th in 2002–03 to qualify for the UCL. Chelsea rise as a good and competitive club enticed Roman to buy it in the first place.
Q2: What was City's position before Mansour?
A very different one.
City were playing in the third tier as recent as a decade ago before Masoor bought the club and were largely a mid table PL side by the time Mansour took over, having finished 9th. Chelsea never went down to second tier.
Q3: Was Roman the first guy to buy a club and inject cash to create a trophy winning team?
No.
ARSENAL 1910: Arsenal were rescued financially before moving to Highbury. The club was in voluntary liquidation and on the brink of extinction. Norris bought into the club, paid off its massive debts, and funded their controversial relocation from South London to a brand new stadium in Highbury in 1913. Literally the foundation of Arsenal as a north London club was made possible by cash injection and their existence as a north London club was manufactured. They later went on to be known as "The Bank of England club" because of these cash injections which let them have theirk golden period jn the 1930s.
Yet their fans will act as saints.
LIVERPOOL 1960s: Liverpool were rebuilt during a period of decline in the 50s and 60s where they fell into the second division. The Moores family injected cash which made them the force of England and Europe that we know now
MANCHESTER UNITED 1932: United was days away from bankruptcy. James W Gibson injected cash to pay off outstanding wages, restructured the club's finances and created youth academy.
Owner investment itself isn't unique to Chelsea.
In fact, Roman didn't save Chelsea from any crisis. He just turned a good club on the cusp of success into a great and successful one. While all other cash injections came to save the clubs from crisis.
Q4: Did Roman break spending rules?
Abramovich injected cash from 2003–09, when owner funding was legal. FFP arrived in 2011, and Chelsea were never found to have broken PSR by disguising owner funding.
Q5: Are Chelsea's 74 charges the same as City's 114/115?
No. Because they're about different things.
Chelsea: historical undisclosed transfer payments (2011–18), self-reported by the new owners, with no Premier League finding of a PSR breach that gave a sporting advantage. Money spent was legal only the channel was illegal. Financial disclosure breach hence faced financial sanctions.
City: False financial reporting, concealed payments, FFP/PSR breaches gaining massive sporting advantages and non cooperation across multiple seasons.
Q6: What's the key distinction?
Chelsea's resolved case centered on historical disclosure issues.
City's ongoing case centers on alleged breaches of competitive financial rules.
That's why treating them as identical is inaccurate.

🤦 I'm just speechless with the officiating yesterday, the ref was clearly the man of the match, But I guess no Assnal fans would agree to it cus it favours them, no problem we Will see how the league ends.
Don't come crying online when reverse is the case💙

🚨🎙️John Terry on Enzo Fernandez supposed move to Manchester City:
“It’s a shame who we allow to become captains sometimes. You need loyalty in the squad, and that's something I've always seen from Reece over the years.”
“Enzo is a player every Chelsea fan loved. Even I loved him. But if Manchester City really want him, Chelsea should only consider a sale if the money is absolutely enormous.”
“I’m honestly ashamed that I even have to speak about this. I don't like situations like this at all.”
“When you wear the Chelsea shirt, you have a responsibility. The fans invest so much emotion in you, and that shouldn't be forgotten.”
“Enzo is too talented to be remembered only for a transfer saga. If he stays, he has to show everyone that his commitment is completely with Chelsea.”
“And if he leaves, the club has to make sure they don't lose a player like that without getting a fortune in return.”
“For me, it's simple: loyalty, commitment and the badge have to mean something.”
