Arrived safely in Daejeon South Korea at the CJ Provincialate. Good to see the Congregational Policy printed and ready for our work together. 160 CJs from the Province have gathered for 5 Safeguarding Sessions with me. I remain grateful for the privilege to share with them in making history. 🙏
Day 5 of the International Safeguarding Delegates training. With just one day before we finish, it’s time to sign Certificates! Grateful still for the energy and enthusiasm of the participants here in Seoul.
Day 4 of the International Safeguarding Delegates Training in Seoul focussed on Standard 4 of the CJ Congregational Safeguarding Policy. Alongside an in depth exploration of trauma it was a busy day. The Delegates remain energised. They are certainly in the words of Mary Ward: “doing good and doing it well”. #CommittedToSafeguarding

In my book „Truth Heals” I write that with researching the topic of clerical sexual abuse I stood on the shoulders of giants. Today I was so happy to hand a copy to one of the biggest giants of safeguarding out there. Thank you Father @hans_zollner!
